We're looking for a NursePractitioner to join Springside Infusion's growing team. In this role, you'll provide care to an adult population in our outpatient infusion centers in Maryland.
The NursePractitioner will partner with the leadership team as we open additional clinics.
This position will report to the CEO and will work closely with the staff at each clinic.
What You'll Do
Direct patient care & clinical management
Assess each patient that presents to the center, eg take history and physical.
Assist with providing care planning and managing intravenous therapies.
Follow orders of the referring physician by implementing medical therapy and treatment plans for patients seen in the clinic.
Monitor patients while on therapy to evaluate for side effects and to evaluate for expected outcomes.
Implement changes to a patient's care plan as directed by the referring provider.
Documentation, orders, and interdisciplinary coordination
Dictate clinic notes and other pertinent data that are necessary for the care of the patient.
Proactively provide information to referring physicians.
Provide detailed and comprehensive documentation of all patient care-related services as part of the clinic's medical record.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team not limited to referring providers or specialists.
Customer service and patient experience
Show professionalism in person and on the telephone with coworkers, patients, visitors, and supervisors.
Warmly greet patients and visitors and demonstrate kindness in daily actions.
