Chief of Cardiology - (240000PW) Description Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Division. Has primary responsibility for division's overall operations. Responsible for the care of patients in the hospital and clinics, as well as research, educational and advocacy initiatives as determined by the Center leadership. General Job Information This position is located in the department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS), Health Services Administration ( HSA) Division. The Health Services Administration Division is responsible for the design, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of a 24- hour comprehensive continuum of quality adolescent medical and behavioral health care services and supports, including screening/assessments, early detection and prevention services, treatment, counseling, dental and vision services for detained and committed youth residing at the Youth Services Center (YSC) or New Beginnings Youth Development Center (NBYDC). The Nurse Practitioner also coordinates and links with community-based health care providers with the capabilities and capacity to meet the ongoing medical and behavioral health needs of youth upon their release from DYRS's secure care. The position provides primary health care for detained and committed youth residing at the Youth Services Center (YSC) or New Beginnings Youth Development Center (NBYDC). The Nurse Practitioner works under the general administrative direction and guidance of the Supervisory Nurse Practitioner. Duties & Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for providing primary health care for detained and committed youth residing at the YSC or NB.
