Nurse Practitioner (NP) scope of practice includes the independent diagnosis, treatment, management, and the performance of dermatologic procedures. Nurse Practitioner will provide dermatology care, including but not limited to examining and diagnosing skin-related health concerns, administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and is responsible for making independent medical judgment decisions and discuss any difficult or challenging cases/situations with the physician.
