Our Gastroenterology practice is located at 55 Highland Avenue, Suite 101, in Salem, MA. We diagnose and treat diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and biliary tract. We also provide endoscopy services at Salem Hospital and at the collaborative gastroenterology practice in the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers, MA.
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour NP to support our practices onsite (both Salem and Danvers) while working in a pod model. The main focus will be evaluation/management of outpatient GI patients with consults, follow-ups, and sick/urgent visits. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The anticipated breakdown is 36 clinical/patient facing hours and 4 hours dedicated to administrative time.
Job Summary
The NursePractitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. May also perform additional duties, such as precepting a small group of learners.
