Position Summary The University of Illinois Chicago's partnership between the College of Nursing and the College of Medicine offers a new Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Fellowship. This exciting program will accept one fellow in its first year. We are looking for nurse practitioner students who are either graduating in May 2026 or Nurse Practitioners with 5 years or less of clinical experience. Potential applicants must have a DNP degree by the start of the program. Candidates are reviewed and selected through an application and interview process. Candidates currently enrolled in an adult-gerontology acute care, adult-gerontology primary care, or family nurse practitioner program will be considered. Nurse Practitioners who are actively practicing and within five years of graduating from an accredited DNP program are eligible.
