Summary: CNY Fertility is a renowned fertility center offering advanced treatments like IVF, IUI, and egg freezing. With a patient-centered approach and cutting-edge technology, we support individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. Our Nurse Practitioner will perform patient-specific duties in the area of fertility including patient care, teaching, triage, procedures, and protocol in a clinical and operating room setting under the direction of the physician by performing the following duties.
Required Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs trans-vaginal ultrasounds
Responsible for follicular monitoring
Responsible for post-op visits
Conduct patient consultations
Reviews laboratory results
Starts, maintains, and discontinues IV lines.
Responsible for administering injections when necessary
Prescribes medications and follows medication protocols.
Provides patient education and medication administration teaching.
Triages patient problems, questions, and concerns to the appropriate area.
Maintains factual and thorough health care records.
Communicates, reviews, and records all laboratory results.
Performs transvaginal and abdominal follicular and prenatal ultrasounds.
Monitors and manages fertility treatment cycles under the direction of physicians.
Supervises all clinical nurses and medical assistants.
Participates in staff development, nursing conferences, infectious disease classes, and continuing education pertaining to area of expertise.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of technical training. Must be a graduate of an approved Master's of Science in nursing program. E xperience in women's healthcare, required .
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
