Our Nurse Practitioner will perform patient-specific duties in the area of fertility including patient care, teaching, triage, procedures, and protocol in a clinical and operating room setting under the direction of the physician by performing the following duties. Performs trans-vaginal ultrasounds Responsible for follicular monitoring Responsible for post-op visits Conduct patient consultations Reviews laboratory results Starts, maintains, and discontinues IV lines. Responsible for administering injections when necessary Prescribes medications and follows medication protocols. Provides patient education and medication administration teaching. Triages patient problems, questions, and concerns to the appropriate area. Maintains factual and thorough health care records. Communicates, reviews, and records all laboratory results. Performs transvaginal and abdominal follicular and prenatal ultrasounds. Monitors and manages fertility treatment cycles under the direction of physicians.
