Practice in the Hearth of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
Shifts for the day position is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; the night schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out. We all have a common goal and help each other by switching shifts if someone needs a day off on their scheduled work week.
Key Responsibilities:
As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on approximately fourteen patients per shift and discharging when appropriate, while our night clinician will perform three admissions in addition to cross coverage.
The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. So, procedures or codes are not required.
We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
We use EPIC EMR and have access to our internal informatics platform.

More specifically, the Consult Team APP works as a team to cover Cardiology inpatients at Wilson Medical Center. That team includes Attending Cardiologist, Cardiac fellows, and residents on Cardiology service. The team round as a group to discuss patients and plan. The Consult Team APP also collaborates with Cardiology subspecialties (Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, Interventional, Structural, Cardiac Imaging, Cardiothoracic Surgery) and the hospitalist/family medicine teams as well as coordinates cardiac testing, results, and care plans. The Consult Team APP has independence in seeing inpatients and is responsible for writing inpatient notes. The Consult Team APP also participates in the Cardiology APP schedule to cover outpatient cardiology messages.

Job Summary
Job Summary: The NursePractitioner will be part of Essen growing medical professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide advanced primary and/or specialty care to our patients. Responsibilities will include but not limited to, performing physical exams, recording patient medical history, creating care plans and administering diagnostic test.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Take medical histories
Perform physical exams, including skin cancer screening exams
Diagnose and treat skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and rosacea
Order and interpret tests
Perform biopsies, wide excisions, and cryotherapy
Develop treatment plans
Prescribe medication
Provide information about preventive care
Perform certain minimally and non-invasive cosmetic procedures, such as Botox injections, laser skin resurfacing, and mild or moderate chemical peels
Assist in surgeries, such as Mohs surgery
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree required
Active New York license as a NP and at least 1 year of working experience as a NP in Dermatology
Currently New York Controlled Substance and Drug Enforcement Registration
Master's degree
Graduate of an approved NP Program and a post-graduate training program in surgery or at least one-year equivalent work experience
Board Certified
Emergency Medicine / Family Practice/Acute Care
DOT, BLS, ACLS Preferred
Bilingual a plus - Spanish
Proven work experience as a NP in Derm
Knowledge of EMR Systems preferred
$130,000-$150,000
