The Providence Provider Resource Department (PRD) is seeking a Per Diem physician associate or nurse practitioner to provide coverage for all Immediate Care clinics in the Portland, Oregon service area. This is a float position where the ideal candidate is comfortable in an autonomous role that requires serving high patient volumes at any clinic location. Additionally, this is a great nurse practitioner/physician assistant opportunity to position yourself for future non-float roles by work alongside multiple multispecialty teams across all 7 Immediate Care clinics in the Portland area. Be part of a group that's dedicated towards providing patients from across the Portland area with more convenient access to high quality care.

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour NP to support our practices onsite (both Salem and Danvers) while working in a pod model. The main focus will be evaluation/management of outpatient GI patients with consults, follow-ups, and sick/urgent visits. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The anticipated breakdown is 36 clinical/patient facing hours and 4 hours dedicated to administrative time.
Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. May also perform additional duties, such as precepting a small group of learners.
