Our client located in Northwestern Massachusetts area is seeking a Family NursePractitioner (FNP) to join their team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established clinic that has proudly served the Western Massachusetts community for quite some time. The ideal candidate has one year of experience as an FNP within primary care and comfortable treating all ages.
This is a Historical area founded in the late nineteenth century. A wide variety of cultural and artistic venues call the area home. The mountain terrain of the area features lakes, ponds and rivers which offer an abundance of outdoor and recreational activities.
Responsibilities of the Family NursePractitioner
Diagnosing and treating health conditions.
Formulating treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases.
Educating patients on lifestyle habits.
Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests.
Counseling patients.
Prescribing medication.
Conducting examinations of the body.
Managing overall patient care.
Educating patients on preventative care and disease management.
Minimum Requirements of the Family NursePractitioner
Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain
All current certifications
One year of experience within primary care
Must be comfortable with all ages
