General Function: Responsible for providing quality medical care, specific to specialty, to NHA patients on both outpatient and in-patient status. Qualifications:
* Active Ohio License: Must hold a current and valid license in the State of Ohio.
* Certificate of Authority: Required in the applicable field of practice.
* CPR Certification: Current CPR certification is mandatory.
* Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
* Experience: Prior experience working with medically indigent populations is highly desirable.

Job Summary

The College of Health and Human Service, School of Nursing is seeking an individual certified as a Family NursePractitioner (FNP) to teach a wide range of nursing content at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The desired candidate will teach in a highly integrated, curriculum that incorporates active learning strategies in small and large group settings.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must hold a terminal degree in nursing or related field (PhD, DNP, EdD). If the terminal degree is not in nursing, the master's degree or bachelor's degree must be in nursing from an accredited program. Applicant that is all but dissertation will be considered. Applicant must be an active Family NursePractitioner (FNP). Applicant must hold current, valid, unencumbered licensure with 2 years' experience as an advanced practice registered nurse.
• Strong primary care clinical experience as a Family NursePractitioner.
• Demonstrated excellence or strong potential to provide effective teaching to Nursing students
• Knowledge and/or interest in innovative pedagogical tools such as team-based learning and/or small group format.
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain detailed, accurate student records
• Ability to provide formative and timely feedback to Nursing students as needed
• Knowledge of assessment strategies related to Nursing education
• Ability to utilize peer and student feedback in enhancing curriculum as needed
• Proficiency with Online Learning Management Systems
