Certifications/Licenses A current North Carolina or compact stated Registered Nurse (RN) license is required upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of employment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required within 6 months of employment. Handle with Care (HWC) is required within 6 months of hire. Required Skills Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum Work Experience 1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred.
