RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospital Corpsmen (HM) assist health care professionals in providing medical care to Navy personnel and their families. They may function as clinical or specialty technicians, medical administrative personnel and healthcare providers at medical treatment facilities. Specifically, Hospital Corpsmen may be called upon to:
Perform emergency medical treatment on SEALs, Seabees, Marines and other military personnel injured in the field, as well as on Sailors aboard ships or aircraft
Perform emergency dental treatment as well as construct dental crowns and bridges, process
dental X-rays and operate X-ray equipment
Serve as an operating room technician for general and specialized surgery
Help administer a wide range of preventive care and medications, including immunizations and intravenous fluids
Conduct physical examinations and assisting in the treatment of diseases and injuries
Maintain patient treatment records, conduct research and perform clinical tests
Assist Navy Physicians and Nurses in a variety of medical fields, including, but not limited to: radiology, physical therapy, phlebotomy, dental, surgery, family medicine, pathology, womens health and more

EDUCATION:

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Required: Current MA Certification from one of the following: The American Medical Technology Association (AMT), The National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), The American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Certification, National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or licensure as an intermediate or paramedic level EMT, Oregon LPN, orOregon RN.
AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures. Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems. Basic knowledge of physician office documentation standards. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and meet all HIPAA requirements.
Those candidates with NHA certification that qualified due to work experience rather than graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting Program will be required to have one (1) year of experience in Medical Assisting.

Patient Care

The Assistant Project Manager Internship will be working with the project team and adjacent departments, providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist with managing all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
Assist with the maintenance of all change order, submittal and document control logs within Viewpoint.
Assist PM and PX with interactions with subcontractors to make certain that we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Responsible for creating the Job Information Sheets and establishing job files under the direction of the PM or PX.
Assume temporary total project supervision responsibilities in the absence of the PM.
Able to read and basic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.
Assist with establishing workflow breakdowns in conjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
Assist with ensuring project billings are accurate and submitted timely, monthly, and per contract documents.
Responsible for assisting in writing and submission of quality RFIs.
Responsible for assisting PM to ensure timely payment to subcontractors and vendors.
Able to review and update status of construction schedules as per request of PM or PX.
Able to assist Project Management team with the setup of project budgets in Viewpoint in conjunction with Field Supervisor.
Work with Payroll department to ensure accurate Payroll information has been submitted.
