We are currently accepting applications from individuals who would like to participate in our Certified Nurse's Assistant Training program.

All part-time and full-time associates will earn PTO from their date of hire and are able to utilize them after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period. Accruals are based on all hours worked, which includes regular and overtime hours. PTO Benefits are hours earned that can be used for vacation days, sick days, personal days off, or holidays and you can cash out up to 40 hours per paycheck.
Position Summary
The Hospitality Aide is responsible for non-direct care activities which may include, but not limited to: passing ice, bed making, and passing trays to residents who are able to feed themselves. These tasks should be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to assure patient safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Pass ice, water, and distribute snacks to residents and clean nourishment refrigerator(s) and cart(s)
Assist with passing and retrieval of meal trays to cognizant residents and assist with cleaning of dining areas after meals
Make unoccupied beds and change bed linens
Organize residents' drawers and closets and label all personal items
Organize shower rooms and clean utility rooms as well as ensure adequate inventory
Provide 1:1 attention to cognitively impaired residents
Deliver residents' mail
Transport wheelchair bound residents to and from rooms
Respond to call lights promptly
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Assist in the evacuation of patients
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Back Office:
Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments
Process all the paperwork in the Provider's outbox.
Follow up with patients regarding lab results.
Call patients to schedule follow-up appointments as directed by the Provider
Clean and sanitize patient rooms between appointments, and sterilize equipment
Specimen collections and processing
Send medication refills as directed by the Provider
Stock assigned patient rooms daily and as needed to maintain proper inventory

The Medical Assistant will work under the direction of a provider and/or director. The MA assists the provider in scribing and providing clinical, education, and customer services, including chart prep, huddles, population based management, patient intakes, vital signs, and counseling in conformance with clinic protocols.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assists in the process of completing procedures related to procurement and processing of diagnostic laboratory specimen samples as ordered by the physician with accurate labeling and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) documentation.
Reports significant physical findings to provider and documents findings in EMR.
Answers clinic phone calls, takes messages and/or appropriately directs calls verbally or via EMR patient case.
Assist with productivity and working with the clinical staff and medical providers.
Continually to work with clinical team to identify ways to provide efficient and effective care.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Completion of Medical Assisting program, Associate's Degree in a similar field from an accredited institution, or 12 months of clinical medical assistant job experience
Familiarity with common software programs, (i.e. Windows-based programs) an ability to quickly learn new systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, community members, and staff members.
Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM
Proficient in computer skills: typing, navigating through the internet, and emails.
OSHA training.
BCLS biannually.
