Job Summary * Monitors heart rhythm pattern of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances, using telemetry equipment. Review patient information to determine normal heart rhythm pattern, current pattern, and prior variances. Observes screen of cardiac monitor and listens for alarm to identify abnormal variation in heart rhythm. Website: Capitol Pain Institute Responsibilities Prepare patients for examination, escort them to the treatment room and be present during examination/treatment to assist the physician in treatment procedures. Measures, collects and records patient's vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height). Interviews patients and records or inputs information to patients' medical record. Collects all medical data to help the physician's ability to draw conclusions about the patient's needs. Ensure all charts and forms for the office visit are ready for the provider. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Cleans rooms after procedures, cleans and disinfects equipment, restocks supplies. Monitor patients' recovery process, inform the provider of observations, and recommend changes in unresponsive treatment techniques.
