The Omega Transitional Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting patients, clients, and clinicians within NC State's End of Life Care Service. Computer literacy in internet use and Windows environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel with keyboarding skills of at least 45 wpm.
Conscientious of departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and able to embrace and personify the mission of the NHC.
Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program and or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
Experience in a medical practice, laboratory, hospital or other clinical setting.
Ability to work onsite Mondays through Fridays.
Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently; bilingual ability is a plus.
Current CPR Certification.

Large ENT Practice in Raleigh is looking to add to their well-established clinical team. We are the regional leader for ENT, allergy and audiology care in the Triangle with plans to keep on growing. We currently have 5 locations in Brier Creek, Cary, Garner, Holly Springs, and Raleigh. We are currently hiring for a floating MA based out of our Raleigh Location
Our ideal candidate would have a medical background, is friendly and engaging with strong attention to detail. They would be comfortable administering shots, rooming patients, assisting with in-office procedures, working with physicians to start notes, and facilitating patient communication.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
ENT/Allergy Medical Assistant duties include but not limited to:
Patient vitals and intake health history and reason for visit
Assisting the doctor(s) with charting patient exam, assessment and plan
Administering Allergy Injections
Ordering necessary tests, imaging etc
Managing follow-up care
Communicating with patients regarding their test results, prescriptions or other recommendations
Prepping and assisting in office procedures
Cleaning and sterilization of instruments
Inventory and stocking of medical supplies
Scanning, assigning incoming documents and health records
Exam room setup and routing cleaning
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am- 5pm. No weekends.
