Transporters will work with hospital staff in ancillary departments, patient care units and the rehabilitation department to provide safe, courteous, and efficient transport services to all patients within Methodist Hospital inpatient areas. Transporters will perform or assist with the transfers of patient to appropriate mode of transport vehicle. Transporters will use communication and technology to assist in the efficiency of the transport service. MH transporters need to work collaboratively as a team with all care providers and other internal customers.
