Provides assistance with mobility, transferring, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing or undressing, eating, toileting, and or/housekeeping needs that are necessary to prevent or postpone institutionalization. Responsible for picking up and distributing outpatient medical supplies to patients weekly. PRN employees are required to work two weekend shifts (Saturday shifts) per month to remain in an active status. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Education: Completion of approved nurse aide training program and successful completion of competency evaluation. Current CPR certification Experience: At minimum, one year experience as a Nurse's aide. Skills: Sensitivity and openness to the physical needs/care of the terminally ill. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with demands of the job. Must have the ability to read, write, and carry out directions promptly and accurately. Good physical and emotional health. Other Requirements: Must have own transportation and provide proof of liability insurance which meets state requirements. Must be able to travel to and from all patient homes without assistance.
