About the job:

AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a C.N.A Float (Home Care/Long Term Care). This is a Full-time position; Monday- Friday and Every Other Weekend 8:00am - 4:30pm.
CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Job Summary:
To provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides comfort/sensitivity to patient and caregiver's emotional concerns and needs. Respond appropriately to emergency situations. Maintains a clean, safe environment.

Required Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.
* Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
* CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
* Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must have excellent telephone communication skills.
* Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as NA II or NA I in Hospice, home health or oncology.
* Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
