RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluation of Candidate Skills
Proctoring a computerized knowledge-based examination, and
Objective observation and scoring of candidates demonstrating clinical skills.
Test Event Delivery & Security
Prepare for events by monitoring rosters & ensuring the site is correctly set up and cleaned up
Control test area by maintaining a working knowledge of Prometric policies and practices
Greet examinee's and verify identification
Monitor candidates as they complete their written exam and/or direct a proctor to administer the written exam, if applicable
Manage testing environment to ensure candidate flow
Observe and rate candidates as they complete their practical exam
Resolve candidate issues or report them to the appropriate supervisor
Protect exam content through administering computer-based testing
Possess technical proficiency to reboot workstations, and reset passwords as necessary
Ensure the delivery of a seamless candidate experience
Report any occurrences which fall outside company guidelines to the appropriate supervisor

Develop and maintain strong working relationship with testing sites (either regional or in facility testing)
Maintain online appointment schedule to ensure event coverage
Ability to provide on-site leadership for candidates
Foster professional and courteous relationships with Nurse Aide Evaluator Community peers
Serve as a Prometric Brand Ambassador when interacting with candidates, site partners and potential clients during test administrations
Coordinate candidate rosters
This position will be responsible for administering up to 1 to 3 test days a week (an average of 8 hours/ test day) at various locations within a 30-mile radius of the employee's zip code. Examinations are performed mainly Monday through Friday with some Saturday and occasional Sunday examinations.
Exams are administered within a 30-45 mile radius of the employee's zip code and Prometric reimburses for mileage beyond 30 mile radius.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
Registered Nurses with active and unrestricted license in the state of operation
BA/BS Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of experience in long term care or experience caring for the chronically ill of any age
Ideal candidate may possess staff development and/or training experience, preferred
SKILLS
Intermediate to Advanced technical skills and solid familiarity with computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Explorer-web browsing)

Always ensures patient confidentiality, and refrains from discussing patient information with anyone other than the assigned nurse and physician.
Always communicates in a professional and empathetic manner with the patient, by listening and acknowledging patient's complaints and refers such complaints to the RN. Any complaints that cannot be resolved at the point of care shall be referred to the patient advocate. Refrains from conversations with patients regarding their medical condition or plan of care.
Solely dedicated to observing the patient throughout the shift. The Patient Safety Observer/Transporter shall not bring personal items such as phones, food, books, or magazines into the room.

b. All residents are to be dressed appropriately (no holes/rips or torn clothing).
c. Residents should be taken to TV room, dining room, activities, physical therapy room or outdoors as tolerated.
d. Complete all restorative care as ordered.
6. Assist with admissions and discharges as necessary.
a. Introduce self. Obtain height and weight of resident.
b. Bring resident to room and assist to undress and unpack.
c. Fill in clothing list and admission sheet completely.
d. Escort all discharge residents out of building.
7. Make beds using covered barrels for dirty linen. No linens on floor.
8. Assist with lunches (as with breakfast). Encourage residents to eat in the Dining Room.
9. Report to dining room at 11:30. Prepare residents for lunch. Take assigned residents to the dining room. Ambulate to dining as ordered. Sanitize resident's hands; offer clothing protectors, or assist resident eating in rooms as assigned. Monitor dining room as assigned.
