Resident Assistant - Memory Care

The Resident Assistant will work in Meadow View, an innovative new memory support community, offering opportunities for people with dementia to live resiliently, regain their dignity, and find purpose! It is a secure building offering 40 memory support suites in 2 households.

Salary Range: $18/hr PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends!

What will I do as a Resident Assistant with Garden Spot?
Assist residents with resilient living. This may include personal laundry, normalcy of living, and reminders of various activities within households and on Town Square.
Treat all residents, families, visitors and peers with dignity and respect, in a cheerful and positive manner.
Ensure residents' privacy, respect, dignity and rights are protected as per State and Federal Regulations.
Assist the residents in a manner conducive to their safety, comfort and independence level.
Respond promptly to resident calls.
Assist at meal times with services as per departmental policy as needed.
Responsible to take and document resident vital signs accordingly, i.e., temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
Opportunities to train as a med tech.
What do I need as a Resident Assistant with Garden Spot?
Must be 18 and have either a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in health care or related field preferable, but not essential.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain after hire).

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated per diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our growing Hospice Company for our Lancaster / York County, PA region.
Responsibilities:
The caregiver (CNA / CHHA) will be responsible for:
Care for census of 5-6 patients
Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
Provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient's laundry.
Feeds and assists with meals.
Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse
Qualifications:
Must have a valid PA CNA / CHHA.
Valid Driver's License and reliable mode of transportation
Authorized to work in the United States

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles
Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, unloading, and answering any questions they may have
Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or delays
Requirements:
Valid Texas Driver's License with good driving record
Previous experience in school bus driving, para-transit services, delivery driving, or similar roles is preferred
Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and team members
Ability to maintain a clean driving record and pass regular drug and alcohol screenings
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo as needed
