Job Description Salary: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Part Time, NOC/Overnight, 10pm - 6am, varies plus every other Saturday and Sunday. In this position, your main responsibilities will include: Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment. Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining. Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner. Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs. Qualifications To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills. High School diploma or equivalent is required All state educational requirements for the position must be met. CPR certification preferred. Experience working with an elderly population is preferred. Cleans and maintains an assigned area of the hospital in a sanitary, safe, orderly and attractive manner within well established guidelines. Experience preferred Cleans all patient rooms, washrooms, nursing stations, offices, utility rooms, conference rooms, and lounges. Dusts, spot cleans or washes, disinfects when necessary, polishes where required. Cleans ledges, shelves, etc. Empties, cleans, and relines wastebaskets. Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, and walls as directed. Washes windows and mirrors. Cleans all horizontal surfaces daily or as required, removing dust, dirt or greasy film. Replenishes supplies such as soap, paper towels, and other dispenser items. Removes for cleaning and re-hangs curtains, drapes, etc. Restocks cart daily with cleaning supplies for the designated area(s). Completes all discharges in the assigned area(s). Maintains all equipment that is issued. Keeps equipment clean and in working condition. Removes trash and soiled linen to the appropriate areas. Requirements 1 or more years of experience

Completes resident's personal laundry as assigned. Assist in maintaining a calm atmosphere. Follow through with all assignments on a timely basis in accordance with chain of command when Health and Wellness Director is not on duty. Report any unusual behavior of a resident to Wellness Leadership. Learns, understands, and maintains residents' rights. Follows established infection control and standard precaution policies, fire, and safety policies, and practices good body mechanics. Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through designated Learning Management System (LMS). Attend all required all staff meetings. Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents. Requirements EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: High school or equivalent. STNA/CNA (Preferred). CPR Certification (Preferred). Must have strong understanding of the English language sufficient to read, write and interpret administrative information.
