Resident Care Aide Resident Care Aide is responsible for the health and well-being of senior residents within our facility. Job duties include, but are not limited to, basic daily functions such as: bathing, feeding, dressing, changing, engaging residents in activities, and charting. The Mobile ADH sites, hosted in partnership with local churches, provide respite care for caregivers of seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia. The Nurse Care Manager ensures the well-being and engagement of clients, compliance with healthcare standards, and fosters community connections and volunteer involvement. Travel to each mobile site is required. Our caregivers are integral in ensuring that clients remain in their homes and communities as long as possible. Personal Care: Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining their dignity and independence. Maintain resident care records as required to document daily resident care to actively track illnesses, incidents, and other happenings concerning residents. Maintain strict confidentiality of residents and/or Fellowship Home business so as not to disclose sensitive information and/or convey Fellowship Home in a negative way, including social media outlets. Maintain understanding and awareness of the Department of Community Healths Healthcare Facility Regulation Divisions Rules and Regulations for Assisted Living Communities, interpret them appropriately, and apply them to effectively achieve and maintain operational effectiveness within your scope of responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. At least 2 years of documented personal care experience in the healthcare industr. Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) license, is required. Must have compassion and a desire to serve senior adults. Resident Care Aide Resident care aides are responsible for the health and well-being of the residents within the Fellowship Home community. Job duties include, but are not limited to, basic daily functions such as bathing, feeding, dressing, changing, engaging residents in activities, and charting. Resident care aides are expected to know resident names, read and sign care plans, keep roll call, maintain safety, give and receive report to other staff members/supervisors, properly communicate with residents and other staff members, and appropriately respond to fall alarms and call lights. Resident care aides are expected to encourage interaction among residents. Each resident care aide is responsible for a specific hall/area during their rotation.
