Job Responsibilities: As an HHA, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include: Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support). Providing companionship and emotional support. Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition. Assisting with medication reminders. Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting changes to supervisors. What We're Looking For: Caring and Compassionate Individuals - If you love helping others, this is the perfect job for you! Reliable & Dependable - Clients rely on you for their daily needs. Physically Capable - Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility. Great Communicators - Ability to interact professionally with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or completion of a state-approved training program. Valid NYS Driver's License & Reliable Transportation. Requirements: Qualifications: · Possession of a current Certificate of Completion in a New York Department of Health Approved Program for Home Health Aides. · Demonstrate ability to communicate orally and in writing. · Demonstrate an empathetic, caring, and dependable demeanor. · Possession of a New York State driver's license and available automobile. Preferred but Not Required: Experience in home healthcare or caregiving. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Familiarity with assistive devices and mobility aids. Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform household tasks.
