Summary:
Under close supervision, performs duties as outlined by the supervisor/manager of maintenance related to the maintenance, construction and repair of company pipeline and terminal assets. Supports welders by maintaining and operating tools and equipment associated with pipeline maintenance and repair and ensures a clean and organized work environment.
* Assists with all facets of safe excavation practices per established company policies and OSHA requirements.
* Safely locate, probe, and mark the location of underground utilities and pipelines.
* Acts as a spotter during mechanical excavation of pipeline.
* Responds to high priority and emergency situations to limit the impact to the environment, community and business objectives.
* Acts as a fire watch during hot work activities.
* Provides welder helper duties during pipe fabrication, pipe cutouts and repairs.
* Operates tools and equipment including beveling machines, grinders, torches, hoists, welding machines, etc.
* Applies joint and pipe coating to pipeline assets prior to backfilling.
* Assists during hydrostatic testing activities.
* Performs periodic and routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
* High school diploma or GED preferred
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred.
* A CDL is required or the ability to obtain a CDL is required.
* Ability to safely use the required hand/power tools necessary to complete all tasks associated with pipeline, facility and pump station maintenance and repairs.
* Ability to work in all types of weather conditions and seasons.
* Travel for extended periods of time is required (80% travel).
* Willingness to respond to emergency situations on a 24 hour/365 day per year basis.
* Ability to follow directions and work independently with instructions and/or in a team environment.

Role Summary:
Learn the overall operation and maintenance of the terminal, pipeline, marine, and rail assets as applicable. Basic understanding of the following: executing the receipt, delivery storage management, and inventory control of petroleum products for the field location.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
* Train and apply knowledge for the maintenance and repair of the terminal loading rack, storage and all equipment associated with terminal operations, keeping it in good working order and acceptable appearance. Maintain facility to meet or exceed company standards. Help analyze and solve problem situations.
* Learn and train to be Responsible for receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products via pipeline, rail, and marine dock (if applicable), following all product movement, measurement and quality control procedures.
* Become knowledgeable of petroleum terminal regulations. Stay aware of all environmental regulations, safety directives and operating procedures, to include Coast Guard, local, state and federal environmental agencies so that the terminal can assure compliance.
* Ensure that management is apprised of any area or issue that should be addressed regarding regulatory compliance including health, safety, security and environmental.
* Maintain a good relationship with all terminal customers and respond to their inquiries and needs as required.
* Following training, respond to terminal, pipeline, rail and marine related emergencies when called upon to do so. Participate in annual emergency response training drills.

About the Role
As a Quantitative Analyst Intern, you will support our team in analyzing trading and proprietary data, and helping produce quantitative models that drive the decision making behind our quantitative execution offerings. You will assist in producing quantitative signals, impact models, and analyze Talos unique trading datasets to support improvements of the trading products and beyond.
You will work alongside experienced team members, including product owners, quantitative analysts, and managers who will provide guidance and mentorship. This role offers excellent exposure to quantitative trading technology and will provide hands-on experience with financial markets data analysis. You'll gain practical experience while working with experienced professionals in the field.
This is a 12-week internship running from June to August.

Responsibilities and Duties
Quant Modelling
Assist in analyzing trading data, proprietary intraday signals, to produce quantitative execution alphas
Help create bespoke analytics visualizations using Talos data to illustrate trading patterns and execution insights
Learn to use internal tools and systems for data analysis
Quantitative Execution Algorithms
Work with Talos quants upon quantitative strategies that utilize execution alphas to drive trading decision making
Help gather and organize data related to trading algorithm performance
Learn about market microstructure and best execution practices
Business Support
Assist in preparing quantitative content for client meetings, presentations and academic research reporting
Work with the Quant strategies to backtest real-world trading features for the pleasure of top leading crypto firms in the space
Qualifications
Class of 2027 pursuing a Masters or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or related field
Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in data science libraries (especially pandas) and a strong understanding of dataframe architecture for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Familiarity with Python-based data visualization tools is a plus.
Database and Query Languages: Experience with SQL, including constructing and optimizing complex queries for large datasets; experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based querying platforms is a strong advantage.
Computational Finance: Exposure to computational finance concepts, with familiarity in using quantitative methods and tools for finance-related applications.
Statistics and Data Analysis: Strong statistical knowledge, including probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and data sampling methods. Ability to apply statistical analysis techniques to analyze financial data.
Mathematics and Machine Learning: Solid foundation in mathematical principles, including linear algebra and calculus, with a focus on regression analysis. Exposure to machine learning and deep learning algorithms and methods in the presence of sparse data, including common imputation approaches. .
Portfolio Optimization: Knowledge of portfolio optimization methodologies, specifically the Markowitz risk-return models is a plus.

Position Overview:
Ameresco is looking for an Intern to join our team in Spring/Summer 2026. The Project Engineering Intern will support the Office of Mental Health's comprehensive Energy Efficiency and Pollution Program (CEEP) based in New York.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for site access and building access for ongoing construction services.
* Work with site Project Manager on ongoing contact, communication, and coordination with Ameresco customers and subcontractors in the design and construction phases, including project status updates and remedies for delays or other concerns.
* Manage, coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality control and that projects installed per design documents, are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding the customers' expectations.
* Evaluate technologies and equipment and recommend most suitable for each application.
* Provide all necessary support, reports, and documentation required by Management for project, including technical and other support to sales, engineering and operating functions as needed
* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Project Team to prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material.
* Manage Project to assure accurate record keeping for project to include, daily log, schedule updates, customer interface.
* Review, and manage all expenditures for assigned project including ensuring all invoices approved for payment are within budget established in project report and have appropriate purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.
* Foster effective customer, subcontractor and vendor relationships at multiple levels and project phases.
