Position Summary: This position is responsible for monitoring and supporting all load rack activities related to the TopTech terminal automation system. 12-hour shifts and on call status is required, 24/7 ~ 365-day operation, rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Position Summary: This position will be responsible for leading design and drafting services for the electrical/instrumentation/controls (EIC) aspects of capital projects. These projects are primarily for Pipelines and Terminals, located in the US. Major Accountabilities: * Coordination of multiple design projects within a fixed schedule. * Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and/or operational challenges. * Project responsibilities: Initial drawings and preliminary scope development; equipment specifications; construction drawings; bid packages; material takeoffs; technical support; construction inspection; as-built documentation; and project closeout. Work with/for Sunoco electrical engineers, project managers, designers/drafters, Sunoco operations, Sunoco maintenance, engineering service providers, customers, contractors, vendors, and inspectors. This includes ensuring that multi-disciplined areas of the project are well coordinated and designed appropriately. * Document facility changes and comply with the Company's Process Safety Management program. * Manages complex E/I design, preliminary equipment studies, electrical equipment layout, complex conduit routing, standard detail design development and light structural /concrete detailing. * Provide technical support and/or guidance to all pipeline departments that will result in safe, efficient and cost-effective installations. * Ensure CAD files and equipment files are maintained per company standards. * Ensure design project complies with required codes, safety standards, specifications, work scope and construction drawings. * May be required to travel on occasion to collect field data, to field verify existing drawings and to provide technical assistance to field construction. * May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience Requirements: * Preferred 10 years of design experience in electrical/instrumentation/controls (EIC) required. * Experience in terminal/pipeline/ engineering environment highly preferred. Maintains the physical holding pens for the birds that are purchased for hunting. Represents the company in presentation and hospitality to the guests of the Ranch. As a*Data Center Engineering Specialist,*you will provide engineering design and support for electrical systems, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire suppression systems, security systems and other facility aspects of computer data centers with little to no supervision. As a project manager, responsibilities will include the successful and reliable implementation of a cost effective highly complex project while meeting business needs. * Work on highly complex tasks for the design, development, maintenance and upgrade of information system infrastructure involving hardware, software, and system applications. This includes, but is not limited to: trouble-shooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, user interaction, training, defining systems scope, gathering requirements, documenting design specifications, research and fact-finding, configuration, testing, reporting, cutover, IS and business user coordination. * Effective work relationships within the department and strong functional relationships at various job levels with business users, IS departments, user groups and Valero business partners. * Learn or demonstrate a broad, in-depth mastery of more than one information system infrastructure discipline/component and associated application/hardware integration while continuously looking for opportunities to improve, streamline, reinvent processes and technology gaps. * Help coordinate the adoption of new procedures resulting from software and hardware changes, including the development of system specifications, documentation, training, and communication plans. * Perform analysis on and recommend quality highly complex solutions to information system infrastructure technology disciplines/components and stay abreast of emerging cost effective technologies. * Understand and mentor others on the various IT methodologies which include project management, development, service management and system architecture * May be required to work off-hours and on weekends for projects and/or support. * Some travel may be required. * On call 24 x 7 rotations, after hours, and extended hours may be required.
