Nutanix CEO and leadership

Rajiv is the President and CEO of Nutanix. He joined in December, 2020 from VMware, where he served as Chief Operating Officer of Products and Cloud Services. Prior to this role, Rajiv led VMware’s Networking and Security business, one of the fastest-growing units in the company, as executive vice president and general manager. Before joining VMware, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Infrastructure and Networking at Broadcom, where he established Broadcom as a leader in data center, enterprise and carrier networking. In his prior General Manager roles at Cisco, he led multibillion dollar product lines in switching, data center and storage and optical networking. Earlier in his career, he held various leadership positions at Nortel, Tellabs and IBM. Rajiv earned his BTech in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology and his Master’s and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He is an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Fellow and holds 36 patents, primarily in optical networking.

David is the Chief Operating Officer at Nutanix, where he oversees all aspects of SaaS Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Support. David brings more than 20 years of product development, manufacturing and operations experience to the company. Most recently, he was at EMC, where he held the position of VP of Manufacturing Technology. Prior to EMC, he was VP of Operations at Data Domain (acquired by EMC in 2009) where he built out the manufacturing and supply chain capabilities to scale the company through a successful IPO in 2007. Previously, David held senior positions at Hewlett Packard and McDATA in a variety of engineering and manufacturing management positions. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

As Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Tyler Wall is responsible for all aspects of the company's legal department functions, practices, and policies. His executive experience includes a focus on technology licensing and distribution agreements; mergers and acquisitions; financing; commercial transactions and agreements; domestic and international corporate affairs; and public company reporting. Prior to Brocade, Wall served at Chordiant Software, Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Before that, he worked at Oracle Corporation as Corporate Counsel for the Commercial Licensing and Distribution group in Oracle's Legal department. Wall has a BS in Economics from the University of Utah, a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, and an MBA from Santa Clara University School of Business.
