This role is remote, allowing for flexibility in daily work habits; however, team members may need to come into the office as required for specific meetings or events, although there are no strict in-office days mandated. This position requires approximately 25% travel, encompassing visits to key customers and stakeholders within the designated territory to support evaluations, cultivate relationships, and enhance collaboration with channel partners. Occasional travel will be necessary to meet the demands of the role and ensure a strong presence in the market. **Your Role** + Recruit, onboard, and mentor new Systems Engineers within the region to build a high-performing team. + Manage HR responsibilities including performance reviews, team development, and expense management. + Provide technical guidance and support for complex evaluations and customer challenges, acting as a technical escalation point. + Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention. + Ensure ongoing enablement and collaboration with channel partners to leverage market opportunities. + Foster a positive, growth-oriented team culture through effective training, support, and open communication. + Participate in approximately 25% travel to key customer and stakeholder locations for relationship-building and support. + Deliver quarterly performance metrics and feedback to the Director, Systems Engineer, to drive team and personal development. **What You Will Bring** + 5+ years of pre-sales Senior Systems Engineer experience. + 1-2 years of managerial experience leading teams. + Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and cloud markets. + Experience with public cloud offerings, SaaS, and consumption models. + Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. + Proven ability to manage HR responsibilities for direct reports. + Experience working with government entities, particularly state and local organizations. + Able to build and maintain relationships with customers and channel partners. **Work Arrangement** Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 225,600 and USD $ 338,400 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
