The Food and Nutrition Services department provides quality nutritious meals to patients, visitors and staff while educating on the importance of healthy eating habits. It also works with medical staff to ensure accurate diet modifications for patients as needed. The department is responsible for performing a variety of general preparation and food service activities, including tray assembly and delivery, working in the cafeteria, cashiering, ware washing, assisting with pantry functions, nourishment activities and catering.
If you are a responsible and caring individual with great communication skills, you could share valuable nutritional and dietary information with Kapi‘olani patients and staff. As the Dietician Aide, you will help to produce patient menus based on individual care plans and needs, as well as other duties related to maintaining patient diet records and general office support for the department. What you do:
As a Food Service Aide, you are efficient and strive to provide the best possible service to our residents and families. Our Aides providing food service to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions and for aiding in all dietary functions as directed.

The Nutrition Aide reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This position participates in the preparation and service of all foodservice programs assuring quality and sanitation are consistent with department standards. Food and Nutrition Service Associates must work as a team within Northwestern Medicine to assure the efficient delivery of services.
Responsibilities:
