Responsible for the system control center computing support systems, ensuring they are meeting the dynamic requirements of T&D operations.

• The Distributed Control Systems (DCS), the turbine control systems, the balance of plant control systems, their associated cybersecurity systems, and their peripherals for monitoring, communicating, and controlling of Generation systems. Responsible for the system control room computing support systems, ensuring they are meeting the dynamic requirements of Generation operations.
Ensures the control systems are able to reliably meet the operational requirements.
Provides administration of infrastructure including servers, network, workstations, cybersecurity systems, and access control for all Transmission and/or Generation control systems.
Provides unified direction and delivery for the operational technology and cybersecurity areas for the Transmission and/or Generation control systems.
Directs technical analyses and performs evaluation of emergent technology in support of Transmission and/or Generation technical, operational, and financial objectives. Provides technical review of new Transmission and/or Generation acquisitions and construction.
Coordinates with other business units to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations in support of Resource Planning, Transmission, and/or Generation business unit technical, operational, and financial mission.
Directs and ensures all Transmission and/or Generation control systems are compliant with NERC CIP and ISO 27001/27019 standards including maintenance, the latest anti-malware, and cybersecurity patches.
Provides required job safety training for every direct staff member.
Performs related duties as assigned.
NOTE:
This position will have a strong focus on Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, ensuring that the systems supporting Transmission and Distribution are secure, reliable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of OT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, cybersecurity platforms, and access controls. By providing unified direction for OT and cybersecurity strategies, the role ensures that the underlying infrastructure can meet dynamic operational demands while maintaining compliance with standards such as NERC CIP and ISO 27001/27019. The position will be central to advancing the resilience, availability, and integrity of OT environments critical to energy operations.

The Nexus Water Group team has an opportunity for Operations Support based in Pahrump, NV. This role is to perform a variety of office support functions to Operations. Minimal travel required other than within assigned service territory Regular hours are from 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday. Overtime or Flex scheduling may be required during other than regular hours for operational or communications support.
What you'll do
Essential Functions
* Plan, organize and maintain a variety of files, records and databases.
* Support Area Manager with weekly, monthly and annual Operations reports.
* Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, interviews and/or other events; distributes information or invitations; prepares agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for meetings.
* Assist with arranging travel plans, training and itineraries for the Operations.
* Sort, review and distribute incoming and outgoing mail; composes, prepares and ensures timely responses to a variety of routine written inquiries.
* Maintain office supplies and other paper goods such as door tags, maintenance of office equipment and other services.
* Track vehicle maintenance, registrations and vehicle record keeping.
* Track and maintain Operator Certification files and training, Water Service Day and vacation calendar.
* Track and coordinate new meter installs and construction water installs and coordinate locations with developers, Operations and Customer Service. Coordinate meter testing.
* Create purchase orders.
* Act as liaison between customers, customer service and operations.
* Complete expense reports for Operations.
* Comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations including Tariffs.
* Work on special projects as assigned.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you bring
Experience
* 1 -2 year of customer service or administrative work experience.
Education and Certifications
* High school Diploma or GED must maintain a valid driver's license.
Physical and Technical Skills
* Light to moderate physical activity, requires normal hearing and vision. May require lifting between 30 and 50 pounds.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks in an efficient manner independently, in the absence of supervision

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administers contracts applicable to electric and gas Rule 9 requirements and related Public Utility Commission of Nevada (PUCN) tariffs.
Ensures overall compliance of the terms and conditions of the contract with established policies, procedures and regulations;
Collaborates with internal departments to minimize contractual risks to the Company;
Reviews transactions under the terms of the contract;
Performs variance analysis, audits, true-ups, and close-outs/expirations of contracts;
Provides cost tracking and analyst on high profile projects;

Assists the Senior Rule 9 Contract Analyst with all Large Project Line Extension, Relocation, High Voltage Distribution, Substation, and Gas Main project total cost true-ups as required by Rule 9.
Performs analysis and assessment of current practices and standards; makes recommendations to management for process improvements. Maintains contract documentation as needed.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.

Overview
The Nexus Water Group team has an opportunity for a Project Manager - Utilities. The Project Manager oversees all water and wastewater utility construction projects from initial contract negotiations through warranty termination for 4 branch companies of Great Basin Water Co. located in NV. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and directing various activities associated with the projects ensuring that they are completed by job specification, on schedule and within budget. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless utility service.
Work Location and Schedule
This position will be based in Pahrump, NV. Up to 25% of time travel for training, meetings and project management.

Oversees complex technical projects, adhering to strict goals and deadlines.
Creates and maintains activity and progress reports for internal and external customers.
Responsible for all project development.
Hires, directs, evaluates and disciplines Construction Inspectors.
Obtains engineering proposals, monitors project budgets, construction activity and coordinates timing with operations.
Tracks all budget related information, such as hours worked and expenses, etc.
Coordinates all daily activities and personnel for each project.
Processes paperwork, including invoices, for each project in a timely manner and submits to operations leadership.
Ensures the success of projects, while remaining in line with time and budget parameters.
Notifies management staff of any current or pending escalations relating to projects, or items that could impact the success of projects.
Coordinates and completes the work necessary to obtain approval on emergency projects.
Constant, independent travel daily between worksites on Company time.
What You'll Bring
Experience
Requires a minimum of 3 years engineering experience, preferably related to water and/or wastewater projects and design.
Two or more years' experience in water and wastewater utility operation and/or design, including distribution infrastructure, storage tank and wastewater treatment plant construction.
Education and Licenses
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or similar field required
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Nice to have
Nevada Water Treatment Operator Grade III Certificate preferred.
Possession of an American Water Works Association (AWWA) Grade I Distribution Systems Certificate preferred.
