Your Role as an HVAC Service Technician * As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining home heating and cooling systems while ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: * Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning coils, electrical checks, airflow measurements, refrigerant checks, and warranty work. * Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems. * Conducting HVAC system repairs on heat pumps, furnaces, and water source heating * Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle functions properly. Installing energy-efficiency upgrades such as smart thermostats and duct sealing. * Educating customers on system maintenance, operation, and upgrade recommendations. * Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Goettl's high standards. * Keeping accurate records of all work performed. * Maintaining a properly stocked company truck with essential tools and equipment * Adhering to local codes, safety protocols, and testing procedures.
