The NVE Facilities Operations Manager (FOM) is responsible engineering, maintenance, operations and quality management programs supporting the DISA Headquarters. The FOM shall ensure both NVE personnel and subcontractors abide by program, contractual and industrial standards/best practices, where required, which meet the requirements of the DISA Base Operations Support contract. The NVE FOM is sole administrator of the BOS performance requirements ensuring objectives and standards are met for: Defining required facility investments, developing plans and schedules, and overseeing the implementation of those investments Janitorial services and recycling initiatives Ground maintenance and landscaping Pavement sweeping and snow removal The FOM shall have ten (10) years' experience as a manager in a multidiscipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract. Multidiscipline environment includes operations, maintenance, landscaping, SRM, and custodial. Comparable project size and complexity means a project that supports facility Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization of a complex of at least 1,000,000 sq ft. The FOM shall be readily available on-site during regular working hours, 0700 - 1700. An industry recognized certification in Facilities Management is required.

What you will do Under direct supervision of the Pod Team Manager (Customer Service Dispatch Supervisor), receives and schedules customer calls for service. Manages schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics. Ensures schedule allows for timely completion of preventative maintenance and aligns with monthly forecasting goals. Debriefs activities of assigned technicians/mechanics daily, coordinating with technicians/mechanics to resolve concerns quickly. Assesses job completion and collaborates with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process. How you will do it * Receives customer requests for unscheduled or scheduled service. * Coordinates labor scheduling to align technician to the appropriate customer and service need. * Communicates the action plan and services to be provided directly to the customer. * Ensures work has been performed to the customer's expectations and performs follow-up with the customer, as needed. * Answers any customer inquiries and resolves or escalates customer issues, as appropriate. * Debrief activities daily * Ensures Technicians are provided daily schedules. Maintains consistent communication with assigned Technicians. The NVE DISA BOS Project Manager (PM) shall be physically on-site, a minimum of 8 hours per day within normal Government business hours which are 0700 - 1700 and be fully responsible for the overall performance of the contract. The NVE PM is the authorized representative for the contractual, technical, and administrative performance of all services for the DISA BOS Contract. The NVE PM is responsible for making contractual decisions and obligating the NVE DISA BOS team within 60 minutes of a request by the Government. What we look for Required * Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO. * Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for system trouble shooting, repair and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business. * Minimum of Three (3) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry. This includes Rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, plumbing. * Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, etc. of pumps, fans, Compressors. * Able to use vibration equipment to trouble shoot drivelines. * Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers activities, trouble shooting, installation and repair. * You will be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies. * Opportunity to invest in career development.
