Your Impact

We are seeking a Director - FSI Banking Transformational Advisor, as part of our Digital Strategy Group, to advance Adobe's vision and thought leadership in this strategic sub-vertical and evangelize it through customer advisory and marketing channels. This leader will work closely with high-value enterprise Banking customers, Adobe's Field Organization, and our own Marketing teams to provide expert "how-to" guidance on topics like phasing a marketing-tech modernization strategy for customer, marketer and employee experiences. The role should draw on prior experience with transformation stewardship influencing budgetary allocations towards partnerships and Martech modernization. Success will be measured by revenue growth in the Banking sub-vertical, as well as customer success stories and executive testimonials we can share to the market.
What you'll do
* Provide expert guidance to clients (from C-level to practitioners) on how to plan and execute end-end digital transformation, with a focus on the Banking sub-vertical.
* Develop original thought leadership content on how banks should transform customer banking journeys digitally or modernize legacy systems, drawing from experience, research, and client engagement. Represent Adobe as an inspiring Banking thought leader and speaker at conferences (e.g., Money20/20, ABA ) and contribute to publications like American Banker.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum MSEE with 5+ years or BSEE with 8+ years of relevant industry experience; experience with semiconductor processes, optical/photonic components, and familiarity with QSFP MSA standards; overseas production management preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of ATE platforms (Advantest 93k, Tel, Teradyne uFlex, Chroma), automated test solutions (Python), and experience with instruments such as optical switches, oscilloscopes, power meters, OSAs.

Acacia (part of Cisco) is a market leader in high-speed coherent optical transceivers, pioneering the development of coherent pluggable transceivers. Acacia's coherent products are deployed by all hyperscalers to connect their Data Centers over distances from a few kilometers to thousands of kilometers and even in submarine networks. Your Impact
As a Senior Optical Packaging Engineer with expertise in low-cost and high-volume optical manufacturing processes of high-performance transceivers, you will own the critical alignment process development of fiber array to PIC; PIC-to-Chip; Chip-to-Chip as well as influence the equipment selection and process optimization for all necessary optical assembly steps. Additional responsibilities include:
Technical ownership of optical transceiver assembly process development, especially silicon photonics optical coupling and free space optics assembly using modern manufacturing methods.
Deliver highly automated, high volume, and economical manufacturing process solution, which meets performance and cost targets while ensuring scalability and reliability.
Propose and plan process optimization for optical assembly processes, conduct and carry out the necessary experiments and analysis to optimize process throughput, process windows, and yield. Manage process transfer to Operations, including documentation, for product introduction at a contract manufacturer.
Design of custom solutions for mechanical assembly automation, including software and electronic hardware integration, as well as fixturing and other mechanical components.
Collaborate with design, test, and reliability engineers to optimize product testability, manufacturability, and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree + 12 years of experience or Master's degree + 8 years of experience PhD + 5 years of experience to include 10+ years of experience in transceiver optical assembly processes or similar roles involving free-space and optical fiber-based assemblies and manufacturing solutions.
Demonstrated experience designing and assembling equipment, with experience in hardware, electronics, and software integration.

You will drive external-facing activities to ensure Foundation AI's market success. You will analyze the evolving AI security landscape, anticipate industry trends, and identify customer challenges around AI model deployment in security workflows. You will clearly articulate Cisco's unique differentiators in purpose-built security AI models, collaborate with sales, campaign, and customer success teams, and drive product visibility, adoption, and design partnerships that advance Cisco's leadership in AI-driven security.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop Go-to-Market Strategy for new and existing products: Develop and execute the GTM strategy including identifying target markets, messaging, and positioning for Foundation AI's open source security models.
· Develop Core Product Positioning, Messaging, and Differentiators: Craft compelling and consistent positioning and messaging around the differentiators that align with the overall product strategy and resonate with customers and partners. Work with inbound product management, engineering, and the field to identify and articulate the outstanding value propositions of Cisco Security products, ensuring they are communicated and understood by the target audiences. Passionately represent the voice of our customers to internal teams.
· Enable Sales and Partners: Create impactful technical content, training materials, and collateral for sales and partner teams. Directly engage with customers, analysts, and industry experts on AI model capabilities and integration patterns. Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader at industry events focused on AI security and SOC operations.
· Conduct Market Research: Regularly analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities. Provide strategic insights to maintain product competitiveness.
· Influence Partners, including Executives: Clearly communicate complex AI concepts and technical capabilities to diverse stakeholders. Use analytical and problem-solving skills to provide data-driven recommendations on model adoption patterns and measure GTM success through design partnership acquisition and qualified lead generation.
**Minimum Qualifications**
· 10+ years in enterprise/b2b tech with at least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 3 in network security
· AI/ML product experience, including areas such as AI model development, training pipelines, model evaluation, and integration into enterprise workflows
· Experience with agentic AI systems, multi-agent architectures, and AI reasoning models
· Knowledge of SOC operations, security orchestration platforms, and threat detection workflows
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related fields
**Preferred Qualifications**
· Product marketing experience
· Product and market understanding of enterprise security
· Experience marketing open source AI/ML models or security tools
· Deep product and market understanding of enterprise security operations and AI supply chain security
· Experience with AI security trends, including generative AI, adversarial threats, model poisoning, governance, and compliance.
· Familiarity with Splunk ecosystem and SOC analyst workflows
· Understanding of model deployment considerations (on-premises, air-gapped environments, cloud)
· Familiarity with modern application security practices, including Kubernetes, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
· MBA
· Experience speaking publicly to an executive-level audience
· Strong project execution skills, attention to detail, and a risk-mitigation mentality
· Self-motivation and partnership a strive to find new and innovative solutions
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills in customer-facing roles
· Ability to lead and influence via persuasion, perseverance, and energy to drive consensus across functions and teams

The starting salary range posted for this position is $191,400.00 to $281,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:
+ 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
+ 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
+ Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
+ Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
+ 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
+ Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
+ Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
+ .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
+ 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
+ 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
+ Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:
$176,100.00 - $287,900.00
