We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Finance Engineering organization. In this role, you will collaborate with various leaders in Accounting, Automotive and Embedded Business Unit and Engineering to ensure accurate and complete forecasting and accounting for license and development arrangements. As an integral member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing and managing relevant financial information that is insightful and visible to NVIDIA's senior leaders to make effective business decisions. What you'll be doing: * Build strong cross-functional partnerships within Accounting, Business Unit, and Engineering * Develop financial models for critical automotive and embedded deals and influence senior business development partners to maximize return on investment * Track, account and forecast revenue and related costs for a high volume of license and development arrangements * Execute "percentage of completion" revenue recognition models based on forecasted and actual costs incurred and book related journal entries * Collaborate with Engineering to understand total costs involved for each arrangement * Maintain an opportunity pipeline for future potential deals and amendments to existing deals * Provide monthly reporting presentations focusing on comparative periods and forecasting * Consolidate and submit forecast data into the Finance system * Develop and leverage emerging tools to improve financial analysis * Post journal entries to SAP to recognize revenue and related COGS What we need to see: * Bachelor's degree from a leading university in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience); CPA is preferred * Experience collaborating across a large organization to influence and inspire change * Energy and real passion for delivering results in a dynamic growth company * 5+ years of FP&A experience or combination of FP&A and public accounting * Experience in SAP, BPC, and Tableau * Advanced MS skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI * Expertise with SQL and data visualization tools * Communicate insights through slides and narratives to a wide range of partners including financial leadership * Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively and independently Ways to stand out from the crowd: * Financial analysis including NPV and return on investment modeling * Strong financial and revenue accounting knowledge, attention to detail and a sense of accountability * Experience with "percentage of completion" revenue recognition modeling * Experience collaborating across a large organization to influence and inspire change * Drive for excellence and ability to handle a high-paced environment Widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
