As a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III), you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner. What you'll do:
Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
Must own tools applicable to position
Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Work independently to inspect and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant environment.
* Identify and resolve equipment safety hazards and perform safety repairs as directed.
* Conduct appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the plant.
* Replace, overhaul, or fabricate broken and damaged components as needed, to include: wiring, relays, PLC's, switches, electric motors, user interfaces, digital & analog inputs/outputs, positioning devices, and controls.
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs: diagnose malfunctioning systems, isolate faults, determine correction actions, and organize & carryout repairs as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and Lockout/Tagout procedures, in order to execute repairs and maintenance.
* Assist in the planning, development, and installation of facility upgrades and repairs including wiring, conduit, and electrical distribution equipment.
* Operate and maintain various electrical and electronic equipment including 24VDC (and lower) control circuitry and 120/208/240/480VAC equipment and distribution panels IAW electrical code.
* Apply a working knowledge of motor controllers, VFD's, sensors, and motion control devices to the maintenance of multi-axis automated machines.
* Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties, as assigned.
* Provide training and guidance to other Maintenance Technicians.
Qualifications
* 3 years' experience as an industrial maintenance technician
* Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
* Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment
