Mike McMullen is Agilent’s CEO-elect. He will assume the CEO position in March 2015 when William (Bill) Sullivan takes an advisory role until his retirement. As a first step in the CEO transition, McMullen has been named president and chief operating officer. McMullen has more than 30 years of industry experience and senior management experience at Agilent. He has been president of the company’s Chemical Analysis Group (CAG) since 2009, a role he still fills on an acting basis. As head of CAG, McMullen transformed the business, consistently delivering market-leading growth and profits. He championed strategic acquisitions and architected Agilent’s China strategy. He built the Agilent-wide Services business that has now been made one of Agilent’s three major businesses. McMullen has extensive experience working across Agilent’s businesses, and is recognized for his inspirational leadership style. He also has significant international experience, having lived in Japan, leading Agilent’s Japan field sales and support operations, and later adding responsibility for China field operations. McMullen joined Agilent’s predecessor, Hewlett-Packard Co., in 1984 as a financial analyst. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Wharton Business School.

José E. Almeida is a Brazilian businessman. He has served as the chairman and CEO of Baxter International, Inc. since January 2016. He worked for Tyco Healthcare from 1995 to 2002. He was president of Medical Devices division from October 2006 to June 2011. He served as chairman of the board of directors of Covidien since March 2012 and as the president, chief executive officer and a director since July 2011. He became a director of EMC Corporation on Jan 12, 2015 and resigned on October 30, 2015, due to his election as chairman and CEO of Baxter. In 2015, he worked for The Carlyle Group as an Operating Executive in the Global Healthcare group.

Mr. Rodriguez joined our Board in June 2020. Since 2019, Mr. Rodriguez has been the Chief Executive Officer of DaVita Inc., a Fortune 500 company providing healthcare services to kidney disease patients throughout the United States and internationally. DaVita strives to improve patients’ quality of life through clinical innovation and integrated, personalized care. From 2014 to 2019, he was the CEO of DaVita Kidney Care, the company’s business unit that treats patients with kidney failure and end-stage renal disease. Mr. Rodriguez has spent more than 20 years in various executive roles at DaVita, driving the company’s transformation for how kidney care is delivered. In 2019, Mr. Rodriguez was ranked No. 40 on the Modern Healthcare list of 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare and in 2015 was named one of the Top 10 Leaders by Hispanic Executive magazine. He currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of DaVita and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Michael A. Mussallem, age 56, has been chairman and CEO of Edwards Lifesciences, Inc. since 2000. Prior to 2000, Mussallem held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in engineering, product development and senior management at Baxter International Inc., including Group Vice President of its CardioVascular business from 1994 to 2000 and Group Vice President of the Biopharmaceutical business from 1998 to 2000. From 1996 until 1998, he was the Chairman of Baxter's Asia Board overseeing Baxter's operations throughout Asia. Mr. Mussallem is chairman of the board of directors of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), and serves as a member of the board for Advanced Medical Optics. He is also on the boards and executive committees of the California Healthcare Institute and OCTANe, and is a trustee of the University of California, Irvine Foundation. He received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering in 1974 and an honorary doctorate in 1999 from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana.

Kaylie is a student University of Mississippi graduating in 2021 and is based in Oxford, Mississippi. She is a Student Worker at CIE Ole Miss and Chief Executive Officer at HEARTWARE INTERNATIONAL, INC.. Kaylie attended Southport High School between 2014 and 2018.
