A wholesome and collegial environment with a Christian focus.
We were in the heart of NYC ... if we didn't change the world, we certainly put our Christian thumbprint on it!!!
Leadership, as much as anything else, is about setting an example for others to follow. Both Mike Scales and David Schroeder were shining examples of leadership.
I prayed much ... one of my closest Christian friends (now passed) Pete Hoitsma, spoke of our "walk" and how my "walk" could be a positive asset to the students at Nyack.
I would have worked harder to make my skills more appreciated.

Inclusiveness was part of the brand!
Taking students from fumbling undergrads, to successful grad students with huge career prospects, and an ethical foundation to buttress it all!
