OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Jointly responsible for the overall success of assigned project(s). KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Reads, understands, and ensures compliance with all elements of all required/applicable contracts. Is the Company's authority on contract between the Owner and the Company.
Ensures the acquisition of permits, bonds, and insurance through appropriate channels as required.
Manages and monitors the RFI system.
Closely monitors all Subcontractor performance in order to ascertain that each subcontractor is in compliance.
Manages and monitors the shop drawing submittal process.
Ensures that all field records are being kept.
Documents important transactions, agreements, delays or events relating to contract, to ensure company's best interest is served and protected.
Ensures that changes are correctly posted to budget and other job tracking systems.
Efficiently completes project closeout in accordance with contract documents.
Prices, negotiates, and collects for all change orders and extra work.
Participates in, performs or directs the buyout of the project.
Develops new business opportunities.
Develops a schedule in cooperation with the Superintendent that complies with the customer's needs, adheres to the terms of the contract, and supports the planning needs of the company
Maintains and updates the schedule ensuring appropriate documentation of changes and distribution to others.
Assumes responsibility for profit margins and fully manages all financial aspects of the project.
Reports to appropriate personnel deviations in margins via costs to complete projections

Completion of a minimum of an Associates degree in an Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or Business related field supplemented by a minimum of 7 years construction experience of which at least three years must have been in a leadership capacity.
Completion of a four-year degree in an Engineering, ConstructionManagement or a Business-related field supplemented with a minimum of 5 years construction experience, 3 of which must have been in a leadership capacity.

Initiates Request for Information (RFIs) to any applicable parties.
Prepares accident and incident reports as needed.
Prepares and maintains a three-week look ahead and works with the Project Manager to ensure it is consistent with the CPM schedule.
Maintains daily project photo records, including album creation and labeling.
Maintains weekly on-site hard copy as-builts.
Manages worksite trailers and temporary facilities, including pricing on procurement.
Partners with the Project Manager in defining and managing roles and responsibilities for project team members.
Manages, mentors and coaches Level 1 and 2 Superintendents when in lead role, Assistant Superintendents, and other direct reports as assigned to help them achieve job duties and professional and personal development goals.
Manages purchased deliveries.
Manages and is responsible for portions of General Conditions budget as assigned.
Prepares and leads pre-install meetings.

A day in the life of an MCN Assistant Project Manager involves providing assistance to the Project Manager through construction planning, scheduling equipment deliveries, facilitation document distribution, and serving as a liaison between project team members and the community with the common goal of promoting the interests of both the firm and clients in all matters. MCN Assistant Project Managers work directly with the Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Executives to provide technical expertise regarding cost estimates, negotiate contracts, change orders, and establish project objectives to ensure project success. What You Bring To The Table:
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in construction, design, architecture, engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in PlanGrid, Procore, and Sage 300 Timberline
Organized, with great attention to detail
Well versed in Excel and all MS Office Programs
Strong and proactive communication (written, phone, and in person)
Ability to work well with colleagues, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and the community
Some travel may be required depending on business needs.

Salary Range: $70,000 -$85,000 commensurate with experience
