Luxury Sales Specialist operates as a brand ambassador who focuses on providing exceptional customer service and information on our vehicles with the objective of educating our customers on our products.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of sales experience in the high-end luxury industry (clothing, jewelry, auto, etc.)
Passion for providing exceptional customer experience with excellent customer service skills, and a desire to deliver top-notch customer service principles and practices
Positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about the automotive industry
High level of proficiency and knowledge of computers, mobile devices, smartphones, and software applications (esp. MS Office, Google Docs, etc.)
Experience with CRM applications (Salesforce) desired
Technologically savvy with the ability to easily maneuver and troubleshoot vehicle technology features
Strong professionalism and personal presentation
Strong sense of teamwork with the ability to also work independently and efficiently
Great attention to detail, highly organized, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays
Must have a valid Driver License and be insurable
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the ambassador for the brand and O'GARA - greet and welcome all customers entering the showroom, assist with controlling the customer flow and traffic, offer beverage service
Deliver exceptional customer service - engage, educate, and excite prospective customers on the brand, vehicles, promotions, and events
Tour the customer around the showroom and exterior lot - showcase and highlight the vehicles and merchandise, introduce to key personnel, and discuss current and upcoming promotions and events
Become the subject matter expert - attend required training classes and sales meetings; obtain the necessary training for factory certification and product knowledge for each model; be up-to-date with any brand and company communication as well as any vehicle alerts, recalls, etc., and help effectively communicate information to involved parties; master all respective brand products - models, stats, price ranges, years, colors, vehicle optionality, and brand competition
Utilize the brand, CRM databases, and tools to achieve and exceed target CRM goals (as set by management) for outbound phone calls, emails, texts, written communication, appointments, follow-ups, and test drives
Ensure all new and current customer contact information and interactions are entered and/or updated into the CRM database promptly
Gather basic information to elegantly “hand over” and introduce/transition the customer to sales team, skillfully utilize the “up system” for sales team
Actively contribute to the achievement of monthly sales and delivery targets by achieving and exceeding individual and store (vehicle and merchandise) sales, and KPI targets set by management
Tour and educate customers before and during test drives; ensure all required protocols, policies, procedures, and safety precautions are followed on all test drives
Present management all offers made by customers to purchase vehicles; assist with compiling all information necessary to complete the deal
Communicate and work with Porters to prepare and stage vehicles in advance of any scheduled appointments or deliveries; for deliveries - ensure all keys, accessories, etc. are prepared and ready for the customer, prepare and coordinate for the reveal ceremony
On deliveries, execute customer documents; tour, educate, and highlight customers on vehicle functions, highlight vehicle features and functions; assist customer with setting up all personal vehicle preferences and sync mobile devices; partner with management to deliver an exceptional customer experience through gifting, meals, photos/videos, etc.
Assist customer with troubleshooting vehicle technology features, provide house-call service for customers in the immediate area (as needed)
Promote brand, company, vehicles, and events thru company social media accounts
Attend on-site and off-site brand and company events as scheduled by management
Effectively work and communicate across all departments (Finance, Service, Parts, Preowned, Marketing, etc.)
Participate in opening/closing showroom procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Managers

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels across the company and the client's organizational structure.
Experience with identifying, understanding, and analyzing a prospect's needs in order to gather detailed information.

Meter is looking to disrupt the networking market. There hasn't been a new and exciting company in this space for the last 15 years. We have plans to become the last great networking company.
Meter's vertically-integrated enterprise networking stack brings a new way to deploy, manage and consume networks. The market has a combined market capitalization of over half a trillion dollars.
We have plans to chase down that market through aggressive hiring and growth of our sales team, meaning that we will be hiring a large number of talented sales people with a diverse range of backgrounds, skillsets and experience. It's imperative that we find a uniquely qualified Sales Enablement candidate that can support our ambitious hiring plans and build repeatable programs to continuously improve our growing team's effectiveness and keep the bar for sales talent at Meter extremely high.
What success looks like
In your first 6 months, you will:
Define the long‑term Sales Enablement strategy in alignment with Sales leadership, ensuring today's programs scale as the sales team more than doubles in size.
Build our very first formal onboarding program for new sales hires that will make reps productive faster and drive down time-to-first deal by 20%.
Develop and institutionalize playbooks that cover ICP, personas, objection handling, discovery questions, competitive positioning and more for the sales team in collaboration with our Marketing team, in order to increase close rates in key verticals and against our top competitors.
Stand up a centralized Enablement Hub, with >80% of reps using it on a weekly basis.
Conduct audits of the sales tech stack and increase adoption of underutilized tools by 25-30%.
Develop an ongoing training program focused on specific sales skills and track post-training performance.
Increase sales tool adoption rates to >80% within 6 months.
Drive at least a 10% improvement in average deal velocity and close rates in key verticals.
Establish other important KPIs and a method for continuous tracking, evaluation and refinement to achieve intended results
What your day will look like
You'll take strategic and hands-on ownership over the entire Sales Enablement function, partnering directly with Sales and Executive leadership to shape how our teams go to market and ensure Meter's sellers are consistently among the best in the industry.
We are onboarding new Sales hires every other week, if not every single week, so you will roll up your sleeves and start operating from day one. You will take over sales onboarding from sales leadership on this schedule, meaning your days will consist of:
Learning from the Sales team what is and isn't working as it pertains to Sales Enablement to inform the scope of your programs
Building the curriculum for onboarding and ongoing training, and leading these sessions with new and current Sales team members
Working closely with cross-functional teams like Marketing & Product to develop assets for the Sales team
Using data to continuously fine tune your approach, as well as report to Sales and Executive leadership
Who you are
You've ideally spent at least 5+ years building robust sales enablement programs from the ground up at high-growth, sales-driven companies
Experience building these programs at companies with a strong networking, hardware or channel focus is a plus
You can test, ship, iterate and scale programs quickly
You're able to build onboarding, training & playbooks from scratch
You've demonstrated a consistent track record of identifying key metrics and exceeding expectations for the performance of your programs
You can easily align cross-functional resources across Sales leadership, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, etc. to increase the impact of your enablement efforts
You're skilled at getting reps to understand the value of new processes and tools and are able to easily drive their adoption
You're an incredible public speaker and have strong facilitation skills that make it easy for you to lead workshops, role-plays and in-person & virtual trainings
You're proficient in Salesforce and enablement platforms like Seismic
