The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store's installer counter. This position will oversee and direct the daily activity of the delivery specialist to ensure customers receive accurate and timely order deliveries.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships.
Quickly and accurately takes customer orders over the phone and online, invoice customer orders, direct efforts to accurately pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure customers receive their orders in a consistent and timely manner.
Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
Ensure that all vehicle inspections are completed on time, accurate and daily mileages are entered into the delivery fleet management devices.
Works with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers.
Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store.
Ensures customers' new core and warranty returns are picked up and credited in a timely manner.
Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and makes sure all returns are tagged/labeled correctly.
Assist on front counter as needed and, on the retail counter as needed.
Help with backroom duties, i.e., auto-load, returns, stock, etc., as needed.
Assist with customer labor claims, making sure they are processed quickly and efficiently.
All other duties as assigned.

Your Impact The focus of the maintenance team is to keep equipment in the RDC fully operational. The RDC Maintenance Mechanic I is a knowledgeable repair person with exposure to and experience with RDC systems and building components. In addition, the individual in this role has general knowledge and basic repair capability in the other two areas outside his/her specialty. Job Overview
The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist is critical support to the POD Model in the One Tier Sales Strategy in a flexible, 24/7 operation. The need for this role is heightened by the Future of Operations move of Dollar General and some independent groceries from Small Store to the Large Store channel. The Bulk Account Merchandiser Specialist will provide vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and Merchandiser, may be the first call point for late PM/early AM weekends ensuring proper route coverage, and acting as liaison between the customer, merchandiser and driver for order refusals, and inventory overload. The BAM Specialist may execute weekend operational plans with minimal and additional influence on changes to the strategy. The BAM Specialist will keep the DSM apprised as appropriate.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Fills, merchandise, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs. Provides vacation coverage to the Bulk Account Merchandiser and POD Merchandiser.
* Manages, sells, and executes in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes and generates sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency for each customer to ensure the day-to-day success of the operation and directly contribute to the financial performance of the company in terms of revenue, volume, and gross profit.
* Executes applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers.
* Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch.

Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed.
Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls according to company policy, accurately looking up parts and quote prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
Responsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer, accepting cash and/or checks, accurately making change, and processing credit card transactions.
Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
Assist with the completion of daily image maker, and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
Perform various daily operational tasks, i.e., prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns to be shipped to the distribution center, assist with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc.
Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met.
Perform various in-store services for customers (where state and local laws allow) - (i.e.; install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules, etc.)
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate.
