discounts on parts some people are ok to work with
no pay raise and store air is warm when really hot outside
discounts on auto parts
nice in general
for some senior people to not be so favorable
by saying that I am interested and want the job
the representation at O'Reilly's could use some work. If one person does not like you at one given moment you could be written up for something you were told to do previously.
driving around to mechanic shops and talking to people
Working here provides a means to grow your automotive knowledge, and you can make some great friends and connections working the counter.
Working here has not provided well in terms of pay. Promises of promotions only to get 25 to 50 cent hourly raises is ridiculous. If you become an RSS or Assistant Manager, expect about the same pay for either position. Unless you're a manager, their promises of pay increase is minimal and you'll be disappointed most likely.
Discount on parts is nice

Very poor management and including district manager, they will transfer you with out asking and don't like to give pay raise
Don't care if you have experience or not
"Team O'Reilly" is really a thing. Everyone helps each other. Fun place.
Would prefer my 2 days off to be consecutive.
Monthly incentive pay.
There is an abundance of knowledge available for you to learn.
Upper management thinks of it's employees as expendable. They will work you like a dog, I was lucky to receive a full weekend or one at all and was never able to use PTO in over a year and a half. Someone is always trying to take your job, since there aren't many opportunities to advance. No matter how hard you work, you might get demoted without warning because someone else did better than you on paper one month. They preach about all the opportunities available to you, but it's only to get you to stay long enough to become a store manager, which have low salary and often work more than employees. Causing their hourly rate to often drop to around $12-13 sometimes. Incentive pay is very low and they will use it to calculate a visually higher pay rate for you to see so you think you're making more. Even though it's just incentive paid once a month as a gift with higher tax rates, their math is usually about $0.60 for ever $100 you sell goes towards it.
Parts are usually cheap; employees pay company cost or 10% over on most order-in items, whereas other parts shops like advanced get 10% off or Autozone getting 20% off. $2000 in parts can easily be brought down to 1000-1250 depending on the items. Much easier to look anything up with O'Catalog than most other systems.
Absolutes nothing. They don't give a crap about employees and their basic feeling is they are a dime a dozen and replaceable
They don't care about employees
There are not any aspects of of the job I would consider my favorite
Great staff and lots to learn. But a great job to get experience
I like my job a lot but I want to be able to experience life and have a little more ability to do so by working hard to earn the experience for a higher paying job.
Worker discounts are really helpful.

Number one. (They don't call you employees. The company as a whole is a team. Therefore, we are team members! That is awesome secondly the benefits on every level for every type of person appears to be quite equal and Bountiful. For the minute you walk in as a hired employee, you are immediately catered to in your specific learning style. I know that my team members went above and beyond to prepare my desk and all of my possibly needed supplies, before I got there. So far, this is an excellent place to work. They are a family first company!
My interest in automotive technology & exposure to parts. Daily travel, even though distance is restrictive.
short travel distance, lack of job training materials.

The people and the culture are amazing! I truly don’t believe I could find a better culture.
The pay and benefits could be so much better we pay so much to have health insurance but are paid much less than we are worth.
The people I work with each day make my job amazing!!
Enjoyed working with the customers that walked in everyday.
Not making enough to save money on the side each month.
Very flexible with my schedule as a student.
