Oak Hills High School company history timeline
The first class taught in 1865 with John Hendrickson as the teacher.
Groves opened school in 1889.
The high school opened in February 1904 with O.O. Crawford as principal.
School continued to meet in various places until a new building was completed in mid winter of 1907-08.
But even then, we’ll be proud to be a part of the future, and of the history of the things which made this 100 years great since the first class graduated in 1908!
The building on School Street would house Oak Hill High School until 1950 when a new building on Jones Avenue opened.
Oak Hills High School, opened in 1959 at its present location, 3200 Ebenezer Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 and adopted a Scottish theme to give unity to all school symbols and to embody the school spirit of the athletic teams, known as the Highlanders.
The summer of 2016 saw portables moved in place on the Oyler Avenue campus next to Oak Hill High, where the entire school is back in place on one campus.
