Position Summary The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and independent decision-making skills are required. Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with product purchasing/ordering, receiving and distribution control for the venue. Receive products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise Perform transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. Perform physical inventory as needed. Process requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures. Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas. Fulfills all event expectations including but not limited to requisitioning during events, post-event break down, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation and maintenance. Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of concession and utility equipment, portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location. Ensure security of company assets. Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning. Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition. Set, test, and strike Daktronics game day clock equipment. Gather, deliver, stage, set, operate, strike, and return all A/V equipment used on Moody Center grounds. Effectively monitor and troubleshoot all audio and video signal flow from source to destination within Moody Center grounds. Operate house lights, back of house, and outdoor lighting. Maintain ClearCom signal quality throughout Moody Center, third party vendors, and broadcasters. Work side by side with third party AV vendors. Frequent bending, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, lifting 15-50 pounds, sitting, exposure to moderate to loud noises, extensive walking through the building. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required and 1-2 years of related AV experience required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
