Position Summary
The Concession Cook is responsible for preparing and cutting concessions food items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Portion control, food waste and sanitation are additional areas that the Cook must be aware of while operating in the kitchen.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.22-$18.27

Responsibilities
Responsible for cooking and packaging food products which is prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
Receives verbal orders from the front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders.
Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.
Responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
Responsible for cleaning, stocking and restocking workstations and displays.
Responsible for operating deli slicer
Ensure that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
experience working in a concession/ deli environment

Responsibilities

Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures, this includes mopping floors, emptying and relining trash cans and keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter.
Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to make bartenders aware of such individuals.
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance and have availibity to work weekends.

Sony AI is seeking research interns who are passionate about ML-based technologies that are useful in movie, game, and music creation, as well as technologies for the ethical operations of generative AIs. The Science & Water Quality Research Internship is a 10-week paid summer opportunity for University of Minnesota STEM college students to apply their scientific and analytical skills in a newsroom setting. Interns will work with Minnesota Star Tribune journalists at our headquarters in Minneapolis MN. to conduct research, analyze data and provide scientific context that deepens reporting on environmental and public health issues in Minnesota, with a particular focus on water quality.
This internship is made possible by University of Minnesota alumni Rebecca and John Siekmeier and the Local News Fund. The Siekmeiers are supporters of STEM education and have emphasized the need for agencies and institutions to uphold scientific integrity and provide clear, accessible information that empowers the public to understand and protect Minnesota's environment.
Interns will be embedded in the Minnesota Star Tribune newsroom, mentored by experienced reporters and editors, and supported in producing research and insights that inform solutions-focused journalism. The term will be early June to early August 2026.
Compensation: Interns will earn $21.25 per hour.

About the Internships
Our research team conducts timely and rigorous research to support Curriculum Associates in delivering products and services that make classrooms a better place for teachers and students as well as to drive national conversations to help improve teaching and learning. We evaluate the efficacy of CA products and services and investigate “what works, for whom, under what sets of conditions” to maximize impact.
We are seeking a current doctoral student with strong research skills to join our Efficacy and Implementation Research team as a summer intern. By applying your analytic mindset, technical skills, and a wide variety of statistical methodologies to one of the richest education datasets in the country, you will help answer pressing research questions that illustrate the impact of our educational programs on student learning and provide research and analytics to support state and local decision makers.
Interns will have the opportunity to:
Manipulate and analyze the large datasets (millions of records) at Curriculum Associates. These data include some of the most extensive assessment and instructional data in the nation.
Collaborate with other members of the assessment development, psychometrics, user experience, and research teams. Attend regular team meetings and work closely with experienced researchers.
Gain experience with day-to-day operations as a researcher at an educational technology company. Experiences may include joining advisory committee meetings, team meetings, attending presentations geared toward a variety of stakeholders, collaborating with experts in other departments, presenting work at internal meetings, etc.
Research Project
Interns will focus on at least one major project. The project may be eligible for submission to a national conference at the end of the summer. Examples of past and possible future projects include the following:
Efficacy evaluations of Curriculum Associates products such as
i-Ready Personalized Instruction,
i-Ready Classroom Mathematics

Fluency Flight
Investigations of the growth trajectories of early readers
Examination of differences in student usage or performance across student demographic groups, including students with disabilities and English learners
Longitudinal research regarding paths to proficiency for students identified as at-risk for falling behind
Examinations of state and national achievement and growth patterns.
The project an intern works on will be determined based on current research needs and intern interests.
Qualifications for Interns
Candidates for the internship will ideally have the following qualifications:
Currently pursuing a doctorate in education research, public policy, or other quantitative social science discipline. Preference will be given to students with at least three years of doctoral-level coursework completed by the start of the internship.
Must have a strong interest in research that impacts student learning.
Preferred: Experience with data manipulation and analysis in R.
Preferred: Knowledge of any one of the following: hierarchical modeling, clustering or other data reduction techniques, and other complex statistical methods, efficacy and/or evaluation techniques

The Editorial Department is hiring a Research Associate. This position is a hybrid position working out of the Carmel, IN office.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process manufacturer submissions and other source information for inclusion in knowledge base content.
Perform accurate data entry of coded and uncoded information into editorial systems.
Analyze and resolve discrepancies identified in audits and reports, escalating when necessary.
Conduct basic research, interpret findings, and apply editorial policies appropriately.
Support team goals by collaborating, cross-training, and serving as a backup as needed.
Take ownership of assigned work, ensuring accountability and accuracy.
Required Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey findings and issues.
Solid IT literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Attention to detail with consistent accuracy in data entry and review.
Adaptability to hybrid work requirements and commitment to clear communication in both remote and in-office settings.
Initiative, self-direction, and ability to use emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, to enhance workflow.
Required Experience
Bachelor of Science (BS) or Associate in Science (AS) in health or biological sciences (preferred).
Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB certified) with at least 2 years of healthcare pharmacy technician experience (desired, not required).

Position Summary
The Bar Back is responsible for backing up the bartender by restocking products to ensure the bartenders stay fully stocked during events while ensuring all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00, plus tips.

Responsibilities
Responsible for stocking products for the bar including N/A beverages, alcoholic beverages, icing wells, sweeping and moping the bar, moving kegs in and out of keg coolers and tapping kegs. Drafting beer and pouring wine for guest orders, running supplies for bartenders back up fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers.
Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures, this includes mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans and keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter.
Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to make bartenders aware of such individuals.
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory.
Ability to speak, read and write in English.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume bar capacity is preferred.

The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. Strong high volume experince providing elevated bar service in a premium venue, hotel or resturaunt. Emphasis on craft cocktails, impeccable guest service and prefessional appearence.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $10.98 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
Must check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Must communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.
Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.
Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.
Contact a management member if he/she is unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.
Request additional product or restock product as required
Ability to handle cash accurately is required. Employee is responsible for issued bank at his/her bar when applicable.
Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times. Ensures bar equipment is clean & well maintained.
Other duties as assigned such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assisting with organization of the cooler
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of bartending experience required
1-2 years of verifiable experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment with a strong guest service focus (Performing Arts Centers, convention centers, or fine dining venues) preferred
ServSafe Alcohol or other responsible alcohol service certification preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated with a collaborative team spirit
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during events
