Overview
Guest Services Team Member to include usher, ticket taker, guest services desk, suite attendant, and greeter
This role pays an hourly rate of $15 to $16.
Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

Responsibilities
Provide friendly and helpful direction to patrons.
Ensure that the section of responsibility is clean and that all physical equipment is in good working order. Throughout the event, this section should be monitored closely to serve all guests and to respond to any “trouble situation”.
Check all passes, credentials and tickets for the correct location, date and time.
Maintaining a safe environment at all times for guests.
Enforcing all Events Center policies and procedures.
Prepare for each event by acquiring all pertinent show information.
Familiarity with the ticketing system and correctly operating the ticket scanners and turnstiles.
Moving patrons through the gates and lines of access as quickly as possible.
Visually inspecting guests for bottles, cans or any other item not permitted into the facility.
Directing patrons through the proper entrances and areas that allowed for public access.
Preventing entrance to emergency exit doors and to all areas that are not public access.
Asking and utilizing event supervisors and management staff for assistance whenever needed and reporting all suspicious behavior.
Greet and provide direction and assistance to club and suite guests while protecting their limited access areas in the Events Center.
Greet incoming guests and accommodate their needs and requests.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Effective oral communication and writing skills
Ability to interact with guests and staff on a professional basis
Must have a earned a high school diploma or equivalent GED
Previous experience preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to nights, weekends and select holidays

Overview

A Guest Experience Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who will act as primary provider of direct experience to guests as they are entertained at Chaifetz Arena. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for our guests and ensuring all service needs are met. Guest Experience Attendants will work in positions as needed including; usher, ticket taker, suite staff, golf cart operator, elevator attendant, wheelchair attendant, and door guards.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00 to $19.00.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
Greet guests and scan tickets as they enter the building or section assigned
Ensure guest compliance with outside food/beverage, camera, bag, and other building policies
Usher guests to their seats and provide directional assistance throughout facility
Monitor guest conduct and provide assistance to guests
Assist in providing a safe and secure environment for Chaifetz Arena
Report any unsafe equipment or situations to supervisory staff immediately
Perform crowd control management functions
Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team by directing guests to emergency exits

Move around to various positions/locations based on event needs
Hand out materials to guests as needed for events
Follow directions for all event procedures and safety standards

Troubleshoot guest issues with the support of the management team

Maintains a working knowledge of the films and events playing in our theaters

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant/theater environment is a plus

Active food handlers certification with the applicable state agency

Responsibilities
Cash handling functions, confirming prices
Assisting customers with their ticket and gift card purchases
Responsible for taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, directing Guests to the theater, and thanking guests as they depart.

Greeting, seating guests, while maintaining a balanced rotation between servers
Clear and prompt communication, both face-to-face and over the phone

Qualifications
Previous restaurant/ host experience preferred

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains kindness and understanding
Organizes and leads the theater cleaning, ensuring that each occupied seat is marked, cleaned, and sanitized before the next film
Ensure order cards, safety, and guest needs are being taken care of in multiple theaters
Launches and manages the guests' orders from POS entry to delivery
Performs assigned opening and closing duties on specified shifts
Maintains assistive listening and closed-captioned devices
Maintains a positive and team-driven atmosphere
Troubleshoot guest issues with the support of the management team
Owns the lobby and seating experience - announces theater seating, guides guests to theaters/facilities as needed, communicates with venue leadership as appropriate
Maintains a working knowledge of our core and limited-time-only “LTO” menu offerings
Maintains a working knowledge of the films and events playing in our theaters
Maintains world-class cleanliness standards for the venue - theater seats, handrails, tables, the lobby, and commonly touched areas
Maintains the highest safety standards and follows all protocols to keep our teams and guests healthy - is knowledgeable about all Alamo policies and procedures
Responsible for all guest-facing interactions and the overall guest experience in the theater
Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company's Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant/theater environment is a plus
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
Schedule flexibility - early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
Active alcohol certification with the applicable state agency
Active food handlers certification with the applicable state agency
Being a cinephile is a plus!
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to execute light lifting and transport items medium distances, up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods
Able to walk up and down stairs many times over a course of hours
Positions oneself to duck out of view of the guests in the theaters
Operates POS entry using touchscreen devices

Job Summary

Responsibilities
Cash handling functions, confirming prices
Assisting customers with their ticket and gift card purchases
Responsible for taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, directing Guests to the theater, and thanking guests as they depart.
Answer phones throughout the shift and direct calls to appropriate personnel as necessary.
Greeting, seating guests, while maintaining a balanced rotation between servers
Clear and prompt communication, both face-to-face and over the phone
Eager and happy to accommodate all guests' requests
Additional opening and closing side work-related job duties: cleaning, stocking, setting up host stand for next shift.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant/ host experience preferred
High School diploma or GED
Able to multi-task
Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
Customer service focused and solution oriented
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
