Responsibilities A nurse resident is an entry level professional nurse who will demonstrate the ability to continuously progress professionally and clinically in a patient care setting. The nurse resident will rotate though specified hospital units as determined by CNO and the AVP during the course of the residency (9-12 week period) and receive coaching from the education team as well as the unit preceptors.
