Job Description Transporting Career Opportunities Join Our Team! The billing specialist position is under the accounting umbrella and requires a general understanding of invoicing practices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Process incoming bills of lading and other documentation sent in via mobile enabled software from driver/driver payroll department. · Daily Billing job duties are time sensitive and will need to be completed on a schedule. • Understand necessary aspects of EBE technologies including imaging, workflow and ships mobile-com app. • Coordinate and communicate with driver payroll to move paperwork when needed and help expediate driver pay when applicable. • Coordinate and communicate with customer service reps and other operations staff as necessary. Questions and answers must be resolved to maintain complete and accurate billing. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with document management software to retrieve wash tickets, BOL's and all necessary customer request to process accessorial billings. • Read and understand customer contracts provided by Sales department to ensure an understanding of customer requirements when invoicing. • Learn AS400 and all rating and billing aspects of issuing an invoice including month-end and daily closes. • Understand the customer specifics on billing i.e., dedicated spreadsheets and/or accessorial formats including customer BOL/PO/Lumper requirements when applicable. • Assist with Accounts Receivable duties as needed. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager • Must have office experience to include Microsoft skills - Outlook, Excel and Word. Candidates for this position should have mechanical experience and a working knowledge of Tractor and APU operations and should have their own tools. Essential Functions: • Conduct complete inspection of each vehicle • Open repair orders and document any abnormal issues discovered • Report issues to equipment manager • Replace all fluids and filters at the recommended mileage • Grease the complete unit • Charge all parts • Keep stock of all filters, lubricants, and fluids used • Monitor all waste lubricants and fluids and dispose of them correctly • Keep education up to date on current Oakley equipment and processes. Job Description The position of Yard Driver is to move trailers to the loading dock and back to the staging area. The Yard Driver maintains the staging area, report any damage to equipment and always maintains communication with Oakley dispatch and the customer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Customer or Driver Manager assigns equipment to be loaded/unloaded at a specific bay. The driver locates the equipment from the staging area. Before moving the equipment, the driver completes a Safety inspection to assure the equipment is safe for loading or unloading. When moving a loaded trailer from the loading area, the driver must verify that all seal points are intact. Make sure all documents for the shipment are in order and in the bill box for the road driver to access. Keeping with Food Safety, the driver will maintain their entire work area, including the staging area, loaded and unloading area, as well the Yard equipment. Maintain service records on the Yard equipment, making sure all fluid levels are checked and maintained. Work with the shipping and receiving department of their assigned customer moving trailers into the loading/unloading area as directed by the customer and or Driver Manager.
