About the Role
Hinge Health is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join the legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal ops professional to join the market leader of Digital Health MSK services at a critical phase of the company's growth. The position offers the opportunity to work with a best-in-class Legal Ops function and a dedicated, talented and welcoming group of legal and compliance professionals.
As part of the Legal Ops team, the Legal Operations Manager will manage Legal and Compliance team operations by creating, managing, and improving processes for the efficient delivery of legal services by the Legal and Compliance team to stakeholders throughout the company. Duties will include managing strategic and high visibility projects, improving the use of legal technologies, improving workflows, developing process documentation and training. This position will also work cross-functionally across business teams and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to maximize the efficiency of the Legal team, create and execute plans to improve Legal Ops functionality and impact, and scale processes to support our Legal team and enterprise goals.
What You'll Accomplish
Work cross-functionally in project managing key company-wide initiatives driven by our team, building and tracking project features, milestones, and dependencies
Create processes and templates to organize projects, legal advice and document business processes
Provide ongoing assistance to various legal functions, including product, commercial, employment and compliance, including managing administration of the company's patent program
Build, manage and improve legal self-service and knowledge management resources
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the legal team's performance and efficiency; create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide leadership with insights into legal spend and operational trends
Lead the selection, implementation, and management of legal technology solutions, including AI, e-billing, and ticketing systems
Oversee the entire outside counsel and legal vendor management lifecycle, including onboarding, billing, and performance tracking; manage and administer the legal team's billing platform
Develop and manage the legal department's annual budget and forecasting processes in collaboration with Finance

Basic Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree and legal operations management experience
2-3+ years experience in the areas of legal operations or project management, in-house or at a law firm preferred
Able to develop project plans and timelines, align key stakeholders and drive project completion
Experience breaking down processes and identifying key pain points to support business improvements
Able to prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize multiple high-importance activities, driving results
Exercise sound judgment, learn quickly and work well under time pressures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a healthcare technology company
Able to provide executive-level project management
Proactive, resourceful and able to function independently with minimal supervision
Excellent oral and written communication, research, interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to cover a wide range and level of tasks - from thinking strategically to troubleshooting detail where needed
Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job and taking on new responsibilities
Previous experience managing IP programs
Strong understanding of legal department metrics, budgeting, and financial analysis
Legal operations certification (e.g., CLOC, ACC Legal Ops) or Project Management Certification
Experience with legal technology:
Legal e-billing software (e.g., Brightflag, Legal Tracker, Team Connect, Passport, SimpleLegal, Onnit)

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $118,400 - $177,600.

Working under the general direction of a coding supervisor, the Facility Inpatient Coder is responsible for the assignment of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes by reviewing all appropriate documentation in accordance with standard coding guidelines. Correctly identifies the principal diagnosis, comorbidities/complications, present on admission indicators, and determines sequencing of codes to calculate the most appropriate DRG representing the patient stay. This position will require knowledge of appropriate capture of codes for statistical purposes such as Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), Hierarchical Conditions (HCC), and severity impacting conditions.
Abstracts data elements to satisfy statistical requests by the health system, medical staff, and enters all coded/abstracted information into the assigned system. Identifies opportunities for documentation improvement and seeks clarity by the physicians. Communicates collaboratively with the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) team to align both clinical and coding approaches to ensure a complete coding profile. Ability to reference anatomy, physiology, and clinical practice to support code assignment and contribute to CDI discussions.
The position requires abstraction of coded data in a timely and accurate manner into the applicable system using the applications appropriate to the work assignment. This may include: EPIC (CSLink), EPIC HB, Solventum 360Encompass, Solventum Standalone Encoder, Select Coder, etc.

The annual salary range for this role is $145,000 - $155,000/year, with a variable bonus, based on performance. Overview
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Manager, Clinical Research Regulatory Affairs is tasked with oversight and governance of Regulatory Affairs department and involved in the day-to-day support of the clinical research studies conducted at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Working collaboratively with key stakeholders within CRO, divisions, as well as colleagues across CHLA's research enterprise, this role advocates for the advancement of critical strategic objectives that promote effective, efficient, and compliant management of clinical studies. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws; accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards, and licensure requirements.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Required:
6 years of experience in clinical research (e.g., research, clinical, interaction with study population, program coordination).
2 years prior regulatory experience.
Advanced knowledge of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and International Conference of Harmonisation (ICH) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines governing the protection of human research subjects.
Preferred: 1 year experience supervising and managing staff
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
* Master's degree in a related field.
* ACRP/SOCRA (or equivalent) certification.
Pay Scale Information
USD $104,395.00 - USD $178,963.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. Respond to inquiries about facilities within policy timeframes.
Support Acadia Healthcare admissions departments throughout the country.

This person will be supporting Acadia Acute Admissions departments around the country in a remote capacity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage Referral Management Portals
Monitor all faxed referrals
Monitor all webforms and call center handoffs/rollover referrals
Utilize facility admissions/exclusionary criteria to process incoming types of referrals
Respond to inquiries about the facility within facility policy timeframes.
Document calls inside of Salesforce and follow-up as needed
Complete Prior Authorization
Pre-Admit the patients in billing system
Coordinate with local admissions department regarding bed availability
Facilitate intake, admissions, and utilization review process for incoming patients.
Perform insurance benefit verifications, disseminating the information to appropriate internal staff.
Collaborate with other facility medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations for referrals.
Coordinate admission and transfer between levels of care within the facility.
Communicate projected admissions to designated internal representative in a timely manner.
Ensure all medical admission documentation is gathered from external sources prior to patient admission and secure initial pre-authorization for treatment and admission.
STANDARD EXPECTATIONS:
* Complies with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
* Communicate clearly and effectively to person(s) receiving services and their family members, guests and other members of the health care team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work, Sociology, Nursing, or a related field; in some states, RN, LVN/LPN
Knowledge of admission/referral processes, techniques, and tools
Familiarity with behavioral health issues and services
Solid understanding of financial principles and insurance reimbursement practices
Knowledge and proficiency with Salesforce.com (or other CRM application), Concur, and MS Office application.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
* Licensure, as required for the area of clinical specialty, i.e., RN license, CAC or other clinical counseling or therapy license, as designated by the state in which the facility operates.
