Responsibilities
You will serve as a deployment manager for the client's linear technology. You will facilitate the clients technology construction deployments by:
Serving as agency representative for assigned project(s), responsible for a successful execution of the SBTT Program
Being responsible for successful project execution including management of scope, schedule, budget, risk, and contractor performance
Being responsible for ensuring timely elevation of project issues through the Planning and Project Execution Team for resolution
Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks, issues, and opportunities for assigned project(s)
Serving as the project expert and spokesperson for the project(s) with responsibility to present, explain, and defend program management issues and directions to higher-level official in CBP, DHS, and other government agencies and interested public groups as requested by the Program Manager.
Collaborating with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), Engineering, Business Management, key stakeholders, and other offices throughout the project life cycles

Qualifications
Background Investigation: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation required.
Education & Experience: Master's degree in business, management, finance, or information management with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or High School diploma with 25+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in: Deploying technology systems and construction management, remote sensor maintenance and/or repair, and/or Civil/site design.
Experienced leader with: 3-5 years in a related team-lead role with 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of MD-102.
Understanding of NEPA and federal real estate clearance process.
Engineering and project management for DHS or DoD in communications and sensor technology.

What Your Impact Is
Serve as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients, providing onsite support and strategic guidance.
Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations to ensure compliance and protect personnel.
Help develop and implement innovative EHS programs in areas such as Hazard Communication, Injury Illness Prevention, Chemical Management, and Process Safety.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.
What You'll Bring
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related science (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of EHS experience with private-sector clients.
Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC).
Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills-clear, concise, and client-focused.
Willingness to travel to and be at client site(s) for up to 40 hours/week primarily within the Northern California San Fran Bay Area, California.
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred:
Master's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field.
Expertise in California-specific EHS regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Help develop and implement innovative safety programs, to help our growing local and global clients address a wide array of Safety challenges including: Auditing/Assessments, Behavior-Based Safety, Biohazards, Chemical or Lab Safety, Data Analysis, Electrical Safety and NFPA 70E, Fire Prevention, Industrial Hygiene, Laser Safety, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding, Process Hazard Assessments, Robotics Safety, Safety Process Improvement.
Perform building hazardous materials inspections, oversight, and sampling.
Support construction safety, industrial hygiene, and behavior-based safety initiatives.
Conduct audits, risk assessments, and industrial hygiene evaluations.
Collect and analyze field data; prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs and strategies.
Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance across all deliverables.
For the Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety position, the anticipated annual base pay is $76,000 - $97,410 USD. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.
