As our Medical Billing Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Review patient encounters to identify billable codes using ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes and submit claims to various payers including
Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Monitor the status of claims, follow up on denied claims, and resubmit corrected
claims as necessary.
Maintaining an EXCEL spreadsheet of our current patients on specialty medications(biologics). This includes checking for previous and future appointments, checking for authorization status, and verifying continuing treatment status.
Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines
