Job Summary
The OccupationalTherapist PRN plans, organizes, and provides professional services in therapeutic programs. Clinical practice includes evaluation and therapy planning to help rehabilitate disabled individuals. Works closely with patients and family to meet treatment goals.
Essential Functions of the Role
Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family, and staff.
Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence-based practice.
Imparts knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues. Adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
Maintains awareness of system goals. Aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.
Key Success Factors
Must possess excellent social relation skills to include excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must demonstrate aptitude in assigned areas as specified for each clinician.
Exhibits proven synergy and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team. Assures excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment.
High attention to detail in fast paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Our OccupationalTherapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. OccupationalTherapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. OccupationalTherapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team. Qualifications

Responsibilities
Our Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living. We have Specialty Programs that include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement Program, and our Total Shoulder Replacement Program. He/she administers skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teaches the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physicians orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.

Responsibilities
Our OccupationalTherapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. OccupationalTherapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. OccupationalTherapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed by OccupationalTherapists/OTs in accordance with the physicians' orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.
Qualifications
OccupationalTherapists/OTs must meet the following requirements:
Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an OccupationalTherapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional Vice Presidentand/or Regional Director of Therapy Servicesapproval based on prior experience setting.
Medicare home health experience is preferred.
